Lizard Tales: The Wit and Wisdom of Ron Shirley Paperback – November 6, 2012

I bought this book on a Wendsday and it arrived on Friday. I did not choose the 2 day shipping. I chose the standard shipping. So my review for shipping is 5 star it was outstanding. Now heres for the book. I am almost threw with the book I lack 2 maybe 3 chapters. It starts from his childhood and tells you you funny stories from throughout his life. He tells you about all of his friends. This is one of the best books I have ever read. It also tells you about some of his first tows in the towing and recovery business. If you are thinking about buying this book and are beginning to say no ill wait or whatever. If you have got the extra money to buy this book do not hesitate. You will not be wasting your money at all. You get to see all of his favorite sayings in this book also. You cant beat that 10.00 price. So here is the total price for when I bought the book I paid 10$ and some odd cents for this book. And then i paid 3.00 and some odd cents for the shipping. It added up to be a little over 14.00 but less than 15.00

This is a book about real country folks with a good heart and a great sense of humor. I enjoyed reading about people who lead normal lives and have received a positive reward for their experiences. Once again we rarely read books about loving our families. I am proud to have purchased this book to give real people a hand up and to maintain opportunties for good people to do well. Keep up the good work Ron.Would recommend this book if you have forgotten how to laugh and love each other.

I purchased this book as a gift for my husband. He is not an avid reader, but has not been able to put the book down. If he is not laughing out loud reading it, he is sharing what he is reading with anyone around...doctor's office, co-workers, family, people in the grocery store. :) Worth the purchase 100%! Even if you are not a Lizard Lick fan, you can certainly gain plenty of knowledge about who they are and why they do what they do.

I watch the tv show every time a new episode comes on so if you love the tv show and you think that is funny, wait til you get your hands on this book! i was cracking up within the first couple short stories in the book. This is a must read if you love comedy and the show.

We are avid watchers of the program on TRU TV and just LOVE this show and the book we just purchased is AWESOME!!! You just have to love those backwood country boys who have a language all their own which is what the book of "Ron-isms" is all about and they know how to handle their own kind. Got the book fast and it was the best price [...]

Such insights into life through humor, and life lessons he learned the hard way. Really makes you stop to think, and opens your eyes. Especially since I can relate to learning the hard way!

I love lizard lick towing, my favourite show by far and when I saw Ronnie had a book I couldn't resist and I have never ever regretted my decision of buying it, its made me laugh more than anything else in my whole life, I recommend this book to anyone and everyone I meet. So buy it!

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas as we watch lizard lick towing all the time. I had a quick flick through the book and its fantastic. Its got a couple of pages of all the weird phrases he comes out with and it has some lovely pictures I'm absolutely ecstatic with this item.

Bought for my husband who really enjoys Lizard Lick Towing on TV. He originally wanted a DVD but not out yet so this was the next best thing. Thought it was a bit thin for the money but heho.

i found this book really interesting, funny, and very enjoyable to read. exactly what I thought it would be, if not, better !! everyone should get this book,if they are a fan of lizard lick towing !

More fast talking than a hooker on a Friday night. Great book that made all the adults in the family laugh. Would recommend it to any redneck (or pinkneck).
