Simple product! Easy Installation! Makes me feel fancy.
The design of these Rev A Shelf units are really ingenious. The idea is so simple, the design is so simple, but it makes everything so much nicer. They have to be making a fortune on it.From all of the pictures I have looked at of very Rev A Shelf products, I'm under the impression that these will work with any Rev A Shelf pull-out unit of this style. I don't know that for a fact, but it looks like the bracket mount holes on the side are on most of them. They simply attach to the tracks with two bolts/nuts on each side, the cabinet brack to the L bracket with two more screws, and to the cabinet with 3 screws on each side. If you want to be cautious you can pre-drill the cabinet holes. I didn't. The screws are tiny and my cabinets are solid. I didn't have any issues. There are spacers which come in the kit so that if the thick part of your cabinet doors are further out, you can move each bracket out another inch or so.There's a variety of screws included and the instructions don't do a great job at telling you what they're for. In fact, I just realized I installed it incorrectly, but it works fine so I don't care. Notice in the picture the top bolt which connects the L bracket to the cabinet bracket has a large washer. The bottom one does not. There are only two short bolts (used when spacers are not) with washers. There are also two long bolts with washers for when you use the spacer. The instructions just say to attach it with two screws and the diagram just shows some screws with dotted lines. The picture for this item on Amazon isn't in the instructions so I just put two short screws with washers on one side, and the two long screws with washers on the other side. Worked fine. There were two screws without washers which I didn't know what they were for so discarded them afterwards. One tip- if you're installing this for a corner cabinet, you're going to need a very short phillips screwdriver and a fairly small wrench to attach the L bracket to the track. I used a stubby screw driver maybe 3-4" long and had just enough room. I used a small crescent wrench to hold the nuts and it was a bit tough to get at them. You can't use any tools which fit over the nuts because the base track is in the way.Overall, great product. I might get addicted to these Rev A Shelf things.

So happy I finally bought this product
It might seem trivial, but the previous garbage bin drawer in our cabinet, you first had to open the door, then pull out the garbage. With this kit, you only have to pull out the door. And I had to have a separate bin in our kitchen for recyclables and now I can have both of them hidden behind a cabinet. Yes the garbage bin is smaller than my previous one, but for a household of 2 people that compost, we don't even fill up this smaller bin in a normal week and now our recyclable bin is much bigger than before, which is perfect. One thing to note that I've seen people complain about in the reviews is if you need to use the spacers like I did, there are only 2 long screws with washers and you can't remove the washers from the small screws, so you think you are missing 2 washers, but just look at the official picture and you'll see that you only need the washers for the top holes because it has a big opening whereas the bottom hole doesn't need the washer. I didn't realize this until I had found a washer I had and used that and contacted the company and they sent me a whole replacement screw set (kudos to the company), that I realized I didn't need more long screws with the washer. You'd think they would have told me that when I emailed them. Anyway, this product is highly recommended.

Glad I bought it
Pros:it worksEasy install, it took about half an hourAllows easier operation of the trash bin sliding shelf.Cons:Slightly more difficult install on cabinets of a shorter width, but still do able.More Detail:I purchased this bracket after buying the Rev-a-shelf RV-12KD-18C, http://www.amazon.com/Rev-A-Shelf-RV-12KD-18C-Single-Qt-Polymer-Black/dp/B000VTVE6Y.We purchased the trash bin sliding shelf because our daughter has started to walk, and found the trash can extremely interesting. The shelf worked great, and was very easy to install. After installing the slider, it was a little cumbersome to open the cabinet with a childproof latch, then have to pull out the trash bin. I thought that attaching the cabinet door to the shelf would make for easier operation. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit concerned seeing that some people did not get all of the needed hardware. The package arrived 3 business days after I ordered it with all of the needed screws and bolts. The directions that were included were plenty clear to install the bracket. The only problem that I ran into was that my cabinet was rather narrow. If I installed the brackets to the door as recommended by the instructions it would have stuck out past the edge of the door. To fix this, I simply swapped the left and right bracket. This gave just enough room on the frame of the door to drill a pilot hole and attach the mounting screws.I installed this bracket in about 15 min after the baby went to sleep. I would recommend taking a little bit more time to get things straight and level. Right now, the door front is straight and matches the rest of the cabinets. However, there is just a little bit more resistance when sliding the shelf in and out, so I think that I may have put the sliders in just a bit of a bind.Over all, I really like this product, and would recommend it to others.
