Buy a real American sodbuster instead.
I was looking to buy a new sodbuster, with wood handles and no excessive logo stamps/etching on the blade. I couldn't find any American made ones. I was hoping to get one from Case, but to no avail. Since, I won't buy any from countries, with a poor history of human rights violations and poor working conditions. I took a shot at this Italian made sodbuster. The blade was sharp, but not with a fine edge. It's visually pleasing and has no blade play when open. However, in hand the fit & finish is really poor, even for a low end knife. The back of the handle near the front and rear was uneven, where the wood, brass and steel come together. It even had brass shards splintering out. I've never come across this before. Not even on a promotional freebie junker knife. For the money I should have gonna ahead and purchased a Case, with synthetic handles. Maybe, next time I'll purchase a vintage one with wood handles on eBay.

Product was exactly as described by seller
The knife is beautiful in its simplicity. While the blade did not come very sharp it only took a short time t get a fine edge on it.

Good cheap sodbuster
I like it for the price. The blade alignment was good and it has a symetrical shaped handle. It did have some minor brass liner shavings I had to clean up. The edge needed a little sharpening but it took a wicked edge and so far has held it. Probably because they used good German steel. I will rotate this with my CASE Sodbuster for sure. I would say buy this knife.

Poor quality
Rough finish with brass shards from liners sticking out. Scales are not attached very well, and there is a large gap between liner and backspring.

A Charming But Unrefined Italian Workhorse
Really like the design of this knife, but it's lacking in the fit & finish department — way off-center blade, scratchy bits of metal shavings on the back of the handle, etc. But for a $19 tool knife, you couldn't expect much more. The parts that need to work actually feel really solid, including the back spring, the blade and the wood scales. It really is a charming knife, and I carry it way more than my Opinels. I prefer the pocket-friendly sodbuster-esque profile, and I can tell it's built to take a ton of daily use.

Exactly as advertised.
I bought this as an edc knife. Fit and finish are okay. The blade came sharp though a touch up always help. It is a traditional single bladed slip joint knife and exactly what I expected.
