Although this isn't IKEA solid pine or anything like that I was pretty surprised at the quality for the money. For those complaining about damage, etc. that isn't the sellers fault, its the shippers, and the product shouldn't get a bad review for it. Overall I'm pretty impressed with the quality. Although its MDF, it appears that it will last quite a while. The top is very thick and it has a coating over it that appears to be waterproof and pen / pencil proof (as in it won't leave impressions from writing on paper). The two tier design is pretty nice and the hidden storage is an additional bonus. If you have a desktop that you will be placing on this desk it will need to be very small. The area provided to place a desktop is not very deep. A normal mid-tower or full tower design will be too large for this space. I coupled the desk with a clamp type monitor mount for my monitor.

I'd been eyeing this desk for a while since i've been needing an L-shaped desk that hides cables well. I ordered this on 3/9 and got the first box in 2 days, the second box came the day after the first came in. I was so surprised how quickly the order came since i was expecting it to arrive somewhere between 3/15-3/18. I set the entire desk up in about 45 minutes and it was the easiest thing in the world. Normally I would have trouble with something at this price due to holes not being predrilled in the proper area or instructions that were too convoluted to interpret. But this desk was incredibly straightforward and hassle free. All boards are connected by screws or dowels and the only assistance I needed was to haul the 2 desk parts from the living room to the bedroom. I would highly recommend if you're looking for a desk that has an executive feel at an affordable price.

I’ve been using this desk for about a month or so and really enjoy it. It fits all my expectations and needs. There were some issues, one of the pieces arrived bent and there were some light scratches on others. When I emailed the seller they replied promptly and courteously, they got me fixed up without much issue. Oh I also emailed them at purchase asking to pay for expedited shipping, which they said they couldn’t do, but would do there best to get it out fast. I ended up receiving the shipment the day before the arrival date range Amazon was showing. So kudos for that too!All in all, it’s clearly made in China product but made well. Assembly is a pain in the butt, directions are just an exploded diagram on one sheet of paper. Parts are all good quality though. It’s exactly what I expected and maybe even slighter better quality. Overall, quite happy.

I’m beyond happy with my decision to purchase this desk. I spent a few days researching because I wanted something that wasn’t too expensive, but at the same time wasn’t flimsy. This desk exceeded all of my expectations. For those complaining about the difficulty of assembly, believe me when I say if you have a brain it isn’t an issue. If you can follow instructions, you can assemble this desk. It’s a great size - I’m using two 27” monitors - and has plenty of space for a keyboard and mouse. There are even small details that really make you feel like you got value for your money (iron legs and soft close cabinet door). I highly recommend this desk for anyone who is looking for something affordable and reliable!

Easy to put together, well made and looks as good as the pictures! Great value. Very happy with my purchase!

UPDATE: Finally received a replacement for the damaged top. The replacement is broken and not usable. Unfortunately, the seller drug out sending the replacement for so long that I cannot return it to Amazon. (Photo of some of the damage on new part is attached.)First - the desktop does NOT sit on the edge of the return as pictured. It overlaps the return just over 10", leaving only a small, unusable space. The return then has only 25" of countertop as the rest of the return sits under the desktop. With the desk not being very deep and most of the return being covered with the desk, there is not a lot of work space. It's fine if you are mostly electronic, but if you need work space, this isn't the best.Overall the desk is a nice design. Unfortunately, the packaging and assistance leaves a lot to be desired. The metal bracket was laying on the desk top and scratched it in two places (see pictures). I let the seller know on July 29th and after a week of back and forth they finally agreed to send me a replacement top. I did a follow-up and was told it will now be another 7 weeks before they will send me a replacement part. We will see.

I like the looks. Assembly was typical, not too difficult, but instructions could have been clearer. I wish it came with a drawer for under under the work area for to hold the small items.

This desk is heavy and sturdy wood. Assembly want too bad but I’d definitely recommend a drill with a large Allen bit and Phillips bit. I’m disappointed because there we two sites of damage to the desk. The 1st was a noticeable chip in the wood of the side credenza and the 2nd, the cord management grate had a break off the corner side - see pics. I would send back, because I like my things in perfect shape but this is a beast of a desk and more trouble to return then overlook the flaws. Better boxing, protection and shipping!
