The media could not be loaded. Super fun and beautiful. Definitely a better choice than play dough like I had as a kid in terms of clean-up. Would definitely make sure you have a clean surface with no dust or particles to keep the sand clean. Best option is a cheap tub for storage. Very soothing for people with joint issues in my experience. I'm an artist and I work with my hands a lot and love to play with this when my hands are sore to alieviate pain. Not a doc though! I mostly just bought it for fun! Great gift for kiddos, my younger cousins love to play with it when they visit.

Always saw this product on tv and videos, and let me tell you, they do not do this sand justice! Great for kids yadda yadda, blah blah blah. BUT NOT JUST FOR KIDS!! Im in my Mid 20s and I havent had a better experience with sand than I have with this gift from The gods! Its fun to play with but also very soothing. ADULTS: If you are stressing from too much work, or family/friends pestering you about life, or you are just feeling kinda down in thw dumps, grab a handfull if this and just let it run through your fingers. Give it a squeeze, make funny objects ffrom it! It is so worth the buy and super pretty!!! My coworkers (all grown adults) kept stealing this from me to play with themselves. So BUY AND HAVE FUN!!

My shimmery kinetic sand looks really pretty sitting on my windowsill next to my purple-leafed plant. I put it in a little airtight container so that it never dries out. There aren't any kids in my life at the moment, but I bought it after trying out a similar product in a store. I love the texture...It's soft yet sandy, and just fun to fidget with when I'm watching television.Before I bought this sand, I was worried about whether the glitter would get everywhere, but it doesn't. It stays attached to the rest of the sand. I haven't had any trouble with it staining things, either, although I try to be careful about not dropping it on the furniture.. The purple sometimes gives my fingers a light tint, but it washes right off, so it's no big deal. I'd recommend it to people of all ages.

I love playing with the sand and the color is true. The only issue I have is that the glitter does stick to your hands. Of course the glitter washes off but I bought this to put at my work desk and I'm not a big fan of shimmery keyboards. It does hold and stick together. I just wish I would have purchased the non-shimmery version.

Love this stuff. It's fun, easy to mold, and easy to clean up! The packaging says it doesn't dry out. It's too soon to tell. I'll update this after a couple of months...oh and another plus! It doesn't stain! The only thing is that it does leave a little glitter on your hands but it's not too much. I saw reviews where people had sand stuck to their hand and gave it a bad review...it will only stick to your have if squeeze it extremely hard. Even then it comes right off. Lol. I got it to make ASMR videos (nerd alert) and I will buy more in different colors!

First of all, we love "sensory toys" in my house. My son has something called sensory processing disorder (where all of your senses are just messed up and can cause overloads and anxiety) so having things like this sand will help him be able to cope with certain textures so he doesn't have a meltdown. It's great therapy.My daughter doesn't have SPD. So I'll do a review on her perspective as well.She tells me daily that she absolutely loves this stuff. She thinks it's so cool that it can hold it's shape. We bought little molds for her to be able to create different things and it works great. The sand is soft and the sparkles are bright!

Love this stuff. Its the best stuff. Uses: play, stress reliever, physical therapy (hands), outreach booth for kids (science, physics, engineering), distraction, Zen smoothing mini faux sand garden.Lasts a long long time. Once you start touching it, you just can't stop, it's mesmerizing.My friend used it at work for her outreach day... what kid wants to talk science and engineering with a bunch of old guys? Not one, unless you've got something cool like kinetic sand spread all over the table to entice them over. I would definitely recommend this product, its fun stuff.

Although it functions just as kinetic sand should, something is up with the dye used to create the "shimmering blue sapphire" color. It stained my kids' hands (like a marker)! Granted, it washed off with soap and some scrubbing, but I have to wonder if it would be safe to use on a lighter-colored surface (luckily the table we use for kinetic sand is black). I would expect the staining from knock-off brands, but I feel a bit ripped off having paid so much for something that can't hold its dyes.
