Made in USA (Your garage) with parts made in China
Bought this not only for the high reviews (except for the only 1 star that makes no sense) and that I saw it was "Made in USA". Unfortunately, a great deal of the parts are made in China. So if a 100% USA trailer is what you are looking for, do not go for this one (-1 star for me there)The trailer itself is super easy to put together as long as you have some form of mechanical abilities (Turn a screw driver, use a ratchet, hit something with a hammer). If you are scared of any of these, go buy one already assembled as some of the instructions were a bit sketchy. Color pics instead of referring to things by color (wiring) would have been great along with better pictures. Love the wiring instructions where it refers to the trailer connection on your vehicle and if matches the trailers connection to "reverse it now". Reverse it how? Not that I need to, just really curious on how do you plan on reversing the connection at that particular point. You only give the LBS ratings of the lugs for torque, nothing else. Hope this thing does not rattle apart going down the road.Kayak Carriers are really nice. Screws that attach to the load bars are actually recessed below padding and they include the padding for a plug as not to scratch up your hull. The bike carriers were really nice with the exception of the locks. Really sort of cheesy. Wish they would have done something more like Thule and made the locks an option. You must lock the tire down to lock the holder in place. There is not another lever or button to push that you can move the locking arm. The tire cradles, awesome! Super strong and beefy looking and adjustable for the pansy little ground pounder tires like 10 speeds clear up to fat tires on real bikes... like Mountain Bikes or maybe even "Fat Tires".So you include a spare tire on this one.... with no bracket to mount it to the trailer. That and the missing "Bill of Sale" that your instructions say "we've emailed it to you when I purchased it" -1 star. Come on... the bracket is what, $20 retail, probably cost you .05 from China. Include it in the kit if you are going to supply spare tire. And seriously, if you say you are going to do something, do it.China stuff. Pretty much all the plastic parts I'm guessing, especially since there were stickers all over the lights "Made in China". Pretty sure the bike carrier and J's are china also. Bike Carriers, China. All the hardware I'm betting, China, based on foundry markings. Tongue... china, stamped big letters right across the top. Didn't look at the tires... guessing China also. The axle MIGHT be USA... or South Carolina is / was the distribution center. Just really unfortunate a company states "Made in USA" in a misleading way. Only thing I can think of is they are being cute and sticking to my headline (Made in USA (Your garage) with parts made in China). And is why I docked them my 1st star.So there you go.

Excellent for a very specific use
Expensive, but a well thought out design. Excellent for a very specific use: hauling two bikes and two kayaks. That is exactly what I was looking for. It was relatively easy to put together. It tows nice behind by GMC Terrain and behind my Suburban.

Very nice to haul toys
Not difficult to assemble but was missing some small parts. So far I am pleased with the trailer, have used it locally and on a 600 mile round trip weekend trip.

Sturdy trailer, works great.
We took the trailer on a 700 mile trip right away and had no issues. Hauled 2 bikes and 2 Kayaks for a fun week away. This trailer is light and stores away not taking up a lot of space. It took a few hours to assemble. Had to tighten a couple of bolts after taking it for a ride to eliminate the squeaks. Was disappointed with the packaging as one of the boxes didn't hold together and allowed 2 pieces of metal to come together and scratch one of the labels on the trailer. It did not affect the trailer functionality at all though.
