Tokina OPERA 16-28mm F2.8 for Nikon F mount

The lens is quite a lot larger and heavier than my 30 year old Sigma EX 17-35mmD which it replaces. Not the same animal. The Sigma was an old friend, but after all these years contracted fungus so no linger viable. Anyway, it's my birthday! The Tokina completes my standard set of lenses on my Nikon D810, I use it for landscape, Architecture and portrait work. It is smooth, pin sharp and the AF/MF coupling a boon as I can now change without having to look for Nikon's fiddly lever on the left hand side of the camera. The super wide angle optical correction is really good and sharpness across the frame excellent. What else is there to say? Incredible value for money!

I use this lens on my nikon z6 for property photography.The lens does the job. Although be aware that the curve of the lens pics up the sun glare very easy.This is also a heavy lens.For the price range I think you get a great lens. I'm very glad with this purchase.

This is a fairly heavy lens, styled like the new Nikon Z range. The picture quality is fantastic, and build is very robust. I have no worries about taking this lens out in the field.
