Not really weighted, could use heavier weights, they float to top when pump shuts off. Size fits perfectly though for doughboy skimmer.

Of course could not find this item anywhere but on Anazon. If you have an oldie but goodie Doughboy above ground pool, this is the right basket. Sized perfectly fits like a glove.

Perfect Fit for 33 x 16 In Ground Doughboy. And they are weighted to stay down in the skimmer. I recommend using skimmer socks with these and all skimmer baskets. They really reduce filter cleaning.

Perfect fit. Does not have floating issue like my last one. Stays put and works well. Fits my Doughboy filter system.
