This is a must have for any train set. I wasn't planning on writing any reviews for the one off pieces you buy for these Brio train sets but this was a last minute, spur of the moment decision to pick up some of these pieces and I am so glad that I did. Like all Brio tracks, they are higher quality than the competition (though true that does come at a premium). But you can pretty much always find a use for these little pieces with any track so if you are even semi-contemplating buying this expansion set, I would recommend going for it. I doubt you'll be disappointed!

Let’s be honest, I bought this pack for the double-hole and double-bump pieces. I’m sure there’s a more apt name for them, but that’s what we call them at our house. The other short pieces are inconsequential, but I’d pay twice as much for just the two doubles. Well worth it for the possibilities they open up!!

Brio products exert better quality, sturdiness and reliability in comparison to other brands. Yes some of the products are pricey but you pay for what you get and so far, I’m pleased.

Well made with different connections

Needed just two double ended opening pieces to make a Brio train plan work. This allowed me to just buy a small box without buying more pcs than I really needed.

I love Brio, it is superior quality for sure, but the price they are charging for 4 tiny track pieces is crazy. I guess I'm the crazy one for buying it anyway, once I received the item and saw the teeny tiny box it came it, I felt like a real chump.

This set of assorted short tracks is hard to avoid if you want to create a track layout of even an intermidiate size. The male-male and female-female pieces will provide a dramatic increase in the number of layouts possible as you can now overcome the problem of curves returning to the starting position. This is a must-have for any Brio enthusiast.
