Nice quality mechanism for a lighter mattress
Nice quality product for a smaller mattress like a full or double. You’ll def want a stronger mechanism for a queen or a king as the pneumatic has struts provided only handle about 66lbs together and cannot be upgraded. Excellent customer assistance figuring that out. Peace!

Need personal screws to instal. Fitting is difficult but works. Sturdy product not cheaply made.
YOU NEED SCREWS FOR THIS TO THEY ONLY GIVE YOU THE BOLTS TO BOLT THEM TO THE BEDFRAME. I ALSO NEEDED A DRILL BIT TO BOLT THEM IN. Personally even though I installed them where the bed frame was holding the box spring I still had to bend them in a bit to fit them to the box spring, that being said it didn’t take much strength and it didn’t damage it or the bed. 8/10 would be 10/10 if Instal was a bit easier and it came with all the necessary hardware.

Nightmarishly complicated install, and doesn't hold up a bed...
The bed in my RV has a memory foam mattress. Under it it's quite a lot of storage without walls under the lid. To install it, I got a piece of wood to drop the wall down a bit. My mattress isn't easily removed because it's memory foam, and the lid won't stay up, so I have a pole I use. I would need to empty my storage before the install, deal with the mattress, and hope I get lucky. So I decided to test out just how strong this thing really is. I followed the manual to add the strut to each metal frame, wedged or into the door opening, and removed my pole that holds it open. It stayed open, so I tried to close the lid and I start hearing crunching. So I guess that test failed.I then decide to replace one of the existing struts with the new ones, and then see if it stays open or just feels like if there were two then it would hold. Nope! Slams shut. Well that test wasn't flawed, and the product just doesn't hold the weight.Good thing I didn't drill the 10 holes and modify my bed or I would be SOL!I guess I'll just settle for a longer pole. This product would only open the door as much as the current setup (not ideal), and I would be fine with that if it was easier to open and close and not dodge a pole.No one seems to make a storage bed mechanism that works. SMH...

Well made, but doesn't accomplish the task sufficiently.
I purchased these assisted hinges to lift the top of a full size platform bed I built and allowing easier access to the storage area underneath. And although they are heavy duty and very well made, they only lift the bed top about 12-16 inches, which really is not high enough to reach the back portion of the storage area with any relative ease. I need a hinge that opens the top to at least a 45 degree angle relative to the frame. At best these hinges only get you to about 15 degrees. Also it should be noted that these hinges came with no installation instructions whatsoever, so to be fair maybe I'm missing an important detail about how the manufacturer intended these hinges to be installed. But I've used similar style hinges over the years and am pretty handy.

Works great.
Easy to assemble. Easy to mount and easily supports my bed platform. I would definitely buy these again if the need arises.

Worked great!!!!!
This was a great product! I used it for my camper. My camper only had twin beds in it so I did a little modifying and added a full size bed and used these so I could still get underneath to the pipes if needed.

Decent quality but pneumatic rods too heavy. 198# EACH!
The framing itself was good. A little difficult to align but otherwise, works well. This system is used for an RV bed. The pneumatic rods are over 198 pounds...EACH! Weigh the end of your bed! We used a simple scale and set the end of the bed on that. Our bed was 115#. You will need 2 rods to each match or slightly exceed the weight of the bed and other components. We went to another company and we were given 2 rods at 135# each. It worked GREAT!
