Ultra Sharp Dual Julienne Peeler & Vegetable Peeler Stainless Steel

Love this peeler! Very sharp and easy to use. I bought it to make home-made potato chips and it works wonderfully for that. While playing around with it I found the julienne side makes great shoe string potatoes and when a pile is put into a pan of hot oil it comes out like a birds nest of crunchy potatoes. Kids love them. Also works wonderful on onions, gives a nice thin slice for sandwiches .

The cutting edge is not smooth so it you are going to use it for thin pieces, forget it. It is not as flexible as it says and quite simply, it does not work as advertised. It is a bad design.

Top quality, lightweight, very very sharp, cuts julienne strips well, feels comfortable in hand, fast shipping and seller sends explanatory email re: use and care as well as wanting to hear if you have any concerns with product.

The vendor was fast in shipping. I got it within 2 days of my purchase. I was so excited to get it, hoping it was going to make peeling and julienning easier. I used it yesterday and it frustrated me. The heads swivel too much and when they do lock in place its at an angle that doesn't reach the vegetable right. It took me longer to use that than than it did to use my knife. However, it was my first time using it and i was in a hurry to get my order out. The blades are sharp and will give me the result i want when the heads actually stay where i need them, but every 4 or 5 swipes the head rotates and gets stuck which takes up time to readjust it. I will use it a couple more times to see if it was just me trying to work too fast.

This is definitely the best of its kind. I have had other peelers but this one is the handiest and most efficient. It is very easy to use and to clean.

Not what expected

Great quality and works wonderfully as a peeler but wasn't quite what I needed to julienne vegetables. I used it in a restaurant and it shredded the carrots more than I needed. Plus the blade kept needing to be cleaned during prep due to fibers getting stuck in the blade. Unfortunately cleaning it was not easy. But I did appreciate the company's professionalism.

Slices easily and very well. Possibly the best peeler I've ever owned. Pay heed to the 'Ultra Sharp' description if you're in a hurry to peel something!
