HoneyGuaridan W25/W18 Pet Water Fountain Replacement Carbon Filters 6 - Pack

I love the Guardian fountains that these are for, but they are not without challenges. For one, they don’t last more than a year, but I doubt any of them really do. Secondly, these filters are great and easy, but sometimes are hard to find. I’ve started to buy multiples at a time to ensure I don’t have issues. Once I even called the manufacturer (In Australia, I think), because I couldn’t find them, so buy them while you can.

I was a little worried these wouldn’t fit our filter even though the product info said it would, but they do and they work great! The way they filter the water even creates an interesting swirl when the water drains, which our cat is really happy about. She’s been really playful around the fountain now haha. She thinks there’s something to catch in the water!

I found this inexpensive fountain easier to maintain and less prone to scale build up than the far more expensive ceramic ones. My cat prefers this model as well. I bought a six pack of filters once only to learn later that they are difficult to find. Down to the last one, I opened the plastic disc with a small flat head screw driver and replaced the carbon granules with half the contents of a PetSafe filter after rinsing clean the fabric liner and plastic case. Next time I’ll fill it with even less granules which should be even more economical. The fountain is working just fine with the refurbished filter.

They changed description and put the filters in a plastic container, I didn’t realize they they were the same thing that I’ve been buying for the last year so I bought a different brand very unhappy so I tried this brand don’t ask me why but when they the fit is perfect much better than the original cloth ones. Really pleased with these filters!

I've used these for my Honey Guardian pet fountain for about a year now. I have a fountain for my cats because one of them likes to play in water bowls. If they get dirty with hair they are super easy to clean. Personally I think these are the best ones around and the price is great!

I ordered the wrong filters these didn't fit and therefore I can't actually comment. I would say that it is good to have an all-in-one design

Unfortunately, this is the only filter available on Amazon.ca that fits the HoneyGuardian water fountain (at this point). The quality is good and the shipping from US to Ontario is extremely quick, but the cost per filter is definitely more than other water fountains out there; especially as the recommendation is to change the filter every 2 weeks. This listing ometimes goes out of stock as well, so I will begrudgingly be stocking up and hope that a non-OEM product will become available at some point.

I am so happy to have these filters for the cat fountain. My cats do not like the raining oir dripping water. Just rinse and pop them into the the fountain just underneath just under the top of the fountain. Difficult to find but now have them. We are very pleased to be able to continue use of the fountain.

I purchased this for my dog/cat water bowl filter. I find I need to change the filter a little more with the warm temperatures and extreme use. Its recommended to change every 2 weeks on the filter box.

We’ve used the HoneyGuardian filters with our water fountain unit for years — both the original fabric ones and then later on the plastic cage ones. We love it so much we bought the updated version of the fountain when it was time for a new one. Recently the quality of the filters have been absolutely terrible. Before we could get a solid 2 weeks use out of each filter with daily rinsing and cleaning of the filters and the top part of the fountain. With the last 2 packs we bought, we barely get a week out of each filter before it starts reducing the filtering capacity causing the fountain to spill over. Keep in mind we rinse the unit every morning of any food debris from the dogs. I’m really hoping this is a manufacturing issue and not a reduction in the quality of the filters.
