Best wax for at-home Brazilians!
I had my first Brazilian professionally done at least 6 years ago and vowed I would never to do it again.Years of using depilatory creams and shaving almost daily just started getting to me. Then randomly, one day I decided "Hey, why don't you give yourself a Brazilian? You do your eyebrows regularly, it can't be that much worse."So, after watching several how-to DIY Brazilian videos on YouTube, I mustered up the courage and went to my local beauty supply store and purchased a very popular, off-the-shelf brand of microwaveable hard wax and set to work after popping two Advil and psyching myself up.I didn't last 10 minutes before I called it quits and cut the remaining "hard wax" out of my hair and lady parts, jumped in the shower and shaved the rest because I wasn't fond of the random bald patches look I had going on.Determined, I started doing more research and realized purchasing the product I did was my first mistake. I then came across a very thorough video of a self-Brazilian wax and noted in the comments that the creator was using a blue hard wax that looked like a shimmery jelly. It was Cirepil Blue. Without a second thought, I hopped online and placed an order through Amazon. Item arrived in two days with regular shipping and all I had to do was wait the alloted 3 weeks for the hair to grow back in. In the meantime I went it and bought a professional wax heater -- no more microwaveable anything for me again! When that time came, I prepared my materials and got to work. I was immediately prepared to have a repeat of previous self disaster with tiny screams, bleeding, and sore, tender parts but with that first wax piece laid down and then subsequently pulled off, I was so shocked. HAPPILY SHOCKED!The pain seemed to go from a 10 (being the most painful) to a mere 3/4 (mild sting and then gone). The hard wax dried down to a pliable rubber consistency that didn't turn brittle and into a questionable plastic-like mess from the previous retail brand I tried. Which meant it had a better grip on my hairs and was gentler on my skin. After about an hour, I was done: hairless, smooth, and in no pain and no sign of tenderness whatsoever. I was so surprised. I can now see you truly get what you pay for.I am now going on my third week since my first time with the Cirepil Blue and I am still smooth! I will never pick up another razor and I'm saying a forever goodbye to Nair, Veet, etc.! I have since used it three times to wax my underarms (2x) and my eyebrows (1x). And I can't believe I'm writing but I am actually looking forward to my second go at a self-Brazilian with the Cirepil Blue. I'm hooked! This is amazing stuff. I don't even want to try another brand!TIPS:(1) You want to make sure that when melting the wax that you have a soft ball in the center -- it shouldn't be completely fluid. Also, pick up the wax on your applicator from the center NOT from the sides where it's too hot and too fluid.(2) Apply a lightweight oil (I use sweet almond oil) before application of wax but make sure you remove the excess or else you won't get a proper adhesion to the hairs. I find after wiping away the excess that I apply a little talc-free baby powder really helps. Hairs embed into wax and come up all on the first try.(3) I didn't have any issues with any wax residue being left behind on my lady parts but did when I waxed my underarms. If you do, take an old piece of the hard wax and press the shiny side down onto the wax pieces left behind, press down firmly and then with a pull it off. Instantly and quickly removed so clean up time was cut down.(4) Do make sure to apply some type of skin calming and soothing product to the freshly waxed area after you're finished. Really helps cut down on post wax irritation and sensitivity!Happy waxing! ;)

My Days of Wax Strips Are Over!!!
I ❤️LOVE❤️ this wax!!! I’ve been using it for about two years and I’ll never go back to using “soft” wax (wax that requires strips). I used to use the GiGi Honey wax with the strips for years. I thought that was the best thing since sliced bread until I was brave enough to try hard wax. I am not a professional, so this review talks about my opinions and things I learned through trial and error. They may or may not work for you. I used the tin of solid blue wax (not the beads). It works with the Gigi wax warmer. I also use the Cirepil Blue “lotion”. This will be the second time I’ve ordered this product. Since I wax only 1-2 times a month, a tin of wax lasts me for a long time. The Cirepil lotion will probably last me years.Pain level:Waxing is not pain free. (You are ripping your hairs out by their roots.) However, once you’ve done it once or twice you barely flinch. I’m a woman that gets those embarrassing “lady whiskers” on my chin, upper lip, and on my neck. I’ve waxed my face while on the phone and no one has been the wiser because I don’t even flinch. Same thing for my underarms. I have not waxed my bikini area because I’m just simply to chicken to do it.Things I like:1. This wax is a million times less messy and easier to clean than the Gigi honey wax. If I got Gigi wax on my counter (or anywhere else) it was a sticky mess that would be there forever. This wax is self adhesive or something. If it’s on your counter, or clothes, or wherever, just get some of your used cooled down wax and press it to the wax you want to remove. It will come right off. Same thing goes for removing wax tidbits on your skin.2. No strips are needed.3. I can apply wax on multiple places at one time and they will still come off easily. The things I learned:1. If you use the wax that comes in a tin, it heats up quicker and hotter the closer the tin gets to being empty. Common sense should have told me this, but it didn’t. This girl right here almost needed skin grafts after scraping the lava at the bottom of the tin and applying it to my skin. So I’m giving you a heads up.2. The Cirepil “lotion” recommended to be used with this is not a lotion. It’s a liquid. You get a buttload of it (like a liter) and it will last forever. Not sure if it’s 100% necessary (because I’ve never not used it), but I like it and will keep using it.3. My Gigi wax warmer doesn’t have temperature settings. It just has on and off. Wax consistency: If the wax is like a liquid, it’s too hot. If it so solid that you can invert the applicator stick (I use the big popsicle sticks) without it *trying* to drip it’s too cold. If it’s too cold, when you pull the stick away it leaves strings of wax behind that look like spider webs. The spider webs aren’t *terrible* but it personally irritates me.4. There is a tutorial on YouTube. It was helpful for me.5. Some people suggest dusting your skin with powder first. I did that and i didn’t like it. I cleanse with the Cirepil lotion first then apply a light layer of oil before applying the wax . I used the Neutrogena body oil just because I had some around the house. I like it so I’ll keep using it. To speed up the wax drying (it’s already quick) I fan myself with a cheap dollar store hand gel fan. Don’t judge me. I’m talking about the kind the ladies fan themselves with in Sothern Baptists churches. When you pat the wax with your gloved hands and it fells dry, pull the skin tight and remove in the opposite direction of hair growth. Then I used the Cerepil lotion afterwards.6. I had never waxed my underarms before. I got brave and tried it. Holy cow! Smoothest and barest pits of my life.I hope this review was helpful.

Best wax for it all
Absolutely the best wax I have found. I’ve been using this wax for the past 5 years and it works great. It picks up every hair, everywhere (face, arms, legs, & privates)It is a nice creamy texture. It stays together when it drys and doesn’t have a problem cracking like others I have tried. It smells like wax but it’s a pleasant smell not unbearable or chemically.I don’t find myself having to go over spots constantly because it adheres to the hair very well.

Great wax beads!
I really like these wax beads. I’m not a professional, I just wax myself. This is the only brand I’ve ever used and will continue to do so. The bag lasts awhile, and pulls my hair right out with each pull. No skin irritation either and I have super sensitive skin.
