Marquis by Waterford Markham Highball Glasses, Set of 4, 13 oz, Cocktail Glasses

Waterford just can't be beat when you want glistening glassware for your table. These glasses are perfect for water, milk, ice tea, and yes, highballs. They really make the table look elegant, even with paper plates. I think they are reasonably priced given the quality and weight, which feels good in my hand and on my lips. I highly recommend them. I use them often, and not only for company. With china and silver, your table will sparkle.

These actually stayed in my shopping list for a couple of weeks because after reading some of the reviews I was more than a little nervous. But finally I clicked the button. I'm really pleased with these glasses. They are the perfect weight, they are beautiful and no funny taste when you drink out of them.I thought I'd address some of the issues mentioned by other reviews.First, because they come from Waterford I think people think they are ordering cut crystal. These are not cut crystal. These are crystalline (glass) that is molded. Cut crystal starts at $75 a glass. At the inflated list price these are $25. At the sale price of $32 these are $8 each. In a high end department store I suspect they'd run about $15 a glass. I've never seen these actually sold at 'list price' so I would discount that. Would I pay $25 a glass for them? Maybe if they were reserved for special occasions. As for packing, mine arrived no problem and seemed to be packed very well. For the sticker's I just used a drop of doTERRA lemon oil and the sticky residue came off no problem. These are much nicer than glasses you are going to get at the grocery or box store, yet affordable enough that when one breaks it isn't horrible. My only negative was my own fault. Be aware these are 13 oz so be careful they are large enough for you. I probably would have selected another pattern in the 15-16 oz size.

I bought Waterford classes of all types as my everyday glasses. Prices appropriately. And makes my table setting pretty.

I’m quite pleased! There’s something about having a cocktail glass with weight that makes it feel elegant and high quality. (I returned others that didn’t feel right.) A great value at $12.50 each. I just placed an order for the old fashioned style as well.

great size - pattern matches other glassware I have. i use for iced tea glasses for special times. had it on wish list a long time (years) and finally just bought them. Wish I had not waited so long.

As usual, Amazon delivered my Marquis by Waterford hiball glasses on time, in perfect condition and I am enamored by these sparkly, beautiful glasses. I inspected them to see if they have any imperfections, the glasses are exquisite, a nice weight to them, and the perfect size. They are in perfect condition, there are no imperfections in any of the glasses. They will look good on my dining room table with my Lennox china. I already have the decanter with the whiskey glasses. Very pleased with these glasses. Try to find glasses like these in any major department store at this price, I do not believe that you will be able. I saw the matching bowl and a matching pitcher, that will be my next purchase.

Quality is ok, you can see the 4 seams on the glasses which i didn’t expect from a reputable brand name made in italy, i wouldn’t buy this brand again considering the price for the (lack of) quality
