Easy, cheap, and works great

Put this in my boat as I think the clock on my stereo drains the battery between uses. Now I can just switch the dial to off and on when I run the boat. Now I keep a battery maintainer on it. Easy install you will need an allen wrench to hold the bolt while you tighten the 5/16 nut

Plastic should be much sturdier.

This is a heavy duty battery isolator. The studs inside of it are 1/2 inch diameter which are too large for most battery terminals. The typical auto or truck battery terminal is 5/16 or 3/8 inch diameter so beware what your terminal has before buying this unit.It is bulky and may not fit in a tightly packed engine compartment. For my purposes it works great so I give it five stars.

I mounted this on a switch panel so I can have a master on/off switch for my battery and it's perfect. If you have a four panel (or however many) switch with the 12 volt (cigarette lighter), just unscrew that and put this in that spot and you are golden. Super easy!

The media could not be loaded. Heavy duty switch. Looks awesome. It functions exactly as it should being a single switch. The size is fairly small, and fits in any location needed. It has no effect on battery life as it is cutting off the power drain to the battery. I like this switch very much and fit my needs well.
