The only problem is that the legs can be difficult to set up (they never seem to stay straight), and the assembly instructions are a little too simplistic/basic for me to follow. Overall though, it comes with so much and the wood seems very durable. I am satisfied with it!

In my life, I have never made a person so giddy as when my lovely fianceé saw this on the morning of her birthday. The hug I received was unquestionably epic.The easel is brilliant. It is made of top quality wood, and has all of the creature comforts that anyone could ask for. There are drawers for everything, it is infinitely adjustable, and folds down to nothing. The paints, brushes, canvases, and books are all as good or better than expected.We couldn't be happier with this set. May you make someone as happy as I did by buying this.

Everything arrived in great condition and as described.This package appears to be put together by someone who is passionate about artists having access to the tools they need. Trying to piece this set together would be much more expensive. Instead, the seller has gathered everything into one reasonably priced package.I travel for work, so, an added bonus is being able to put most of the contents within the easel and pack it up into my car so that I have a portable hobby!Thank you for assembling this lovely painters set. I look forward to my enjoyment with experimentation and relaxation!

Let me begin by saying that I think this is a good buy for a quality product. It is not an incredible buy nor is it a perfect collection. But for beginners it is fine. Many years ago (read decades) I did a lot of drawing and painting. I decided to start again. Because it had been so long I felt that I needed to get "in touch" with what was out there - so off to the brick and mortar stores, comparison shopping specialty art supplies to craft stores to large retailers. I noted that starting a hobby with all the supplies is expensive - especially because I wasn't sure which medium I wanted to work in or if I would be doing it a while. After looking around I decided that this was a good way to restart. The easel is fine for the price. A really good studio easel is not easily portable (this one is) but it will also be sturdier, will hold larger pictures, and may be able to angle the picture but it could set you back 2x the price of this whole set. Best plus about this easel is that it was super easy to build. The paints provided are adequate. The tubes of paint are small, small enough that I don't think that there are enough oils or acrylics to use on the canvases that are provided if you only wanted work in one medium. The brushes are ok but are not what you would want if you plan to continue painting. There are some essentials that I would have liked in the box: gesso, linseed oil, turpentine, and a small wet pallet to work in acrylics & palette knives (just one or two) & if I were really honest I would like one or two fixative products - even small cans. So if you are a beginner or your child is serious about becoming an artist or you are returning to a hobby - this is a good deal for the price (in part because you will not need to spend time trying to decide what you need). If you know what you are doing or plan to do the hobby more than casually this is not the set for you (although on second thought it might be nice for taking on a drive vacation - packs up small enough to do so - though again you would need to bring some other things with you unless you are doing only watercolors).

I bought for my artsy Wife. Thanks to the Covid-19 thing blowing up after I gave it to her, she has not had the time to go out and use (she is an essential worker).We did unfurl it once. She needed an extra set of hands. We didn’t 100% righted all legs. Once up, it was sweet! It was up for a week and the dogs knocked it over once then I righted all legs and it was more stable. I would sit or lean upon the easel. I think when used as an easel, it will be perfect.

They included upgraded brushes because the others were back ordered. Went above and beyond what our expectations were. It's a beautiful hardwood case and stores everything you need for a day trip to the park equipped with a strong strap for shoulder carrying. All in all we are very impressed!!

Bought as a gift for a family member- easy to set up but also came with a dead roach and missing a screw for one of the tripod legs. This type of roach is not endemic to our part of the country!!! Wouldn’t care so much if it wasn’t a gift...
