Started failing in under 3 months.
So far so good, it's a very comfortable belt.Update: less then 3 months later the little pastic bit that holds the belt together has begun to tear off.

I Want To Like It
I want to like this belt, I really do and I can't say I hate it, but it's like the high school girlfriend you never really get passionate about, but keep dating her because it's easy to do.The Grip 6 belt is such a good idea since it has no moving parts and is an excellent choice for jeans and casual wear. The modular choices of belt and buckle colors really lend itself to a one-system solution. When I wear it with jeans, I think it's a sharp looking belt and basically does the job.My problem with the Grip 6 belt is that as a friction belt, it pretty much only adjusts to that certin diameter that "just does" the job. I normally like a little snugger belt, and one would think you could make it tighter with a good pull, but at some point the friction dynamic works against getting it any snugger. Also, like virtually all belts I've ever owned (saved for my US Army issue), the belt itself develops an imprint or "bend" right at the most common friction point which again, makes getting the belt more snug a challenge. For some fair information, I'm definitely not at my Army weight any more and have the typical spare tire most of us midwest American men develop. But, I still have a waistline and don't require suspenders.Do I want a refund? No. Will I stop wearing it? No. Will I buy another? Probably not.

Conceal carry with this belt
I read a lot of questions and answers about conceal carry with this belt and most of the answers were negative, but I decided to try anyways. I bought this belt specifically for carrying a pistol and I learned that if you clip your holster to the side with the tail then it doubles the belt and works perfectly. Since this belts tail goes behind the buckle, you can put it on left to right or right to left and it will look the same either way. Now for the quality of the belt itself. Super lightweight. Doesnt loosen throughout the day, (when properly put on) and the buckle isnt digging into my stomach which is very nice. I will definitely be buying more to have different colors.

Form and Function in one sleek package
I own 2 straps and 5 buckle colors, therefore I have 20 belts. Yeah, I know that 2*5 = 10, but you can also reverse the strap. One side generally has the highlight stitching, the other has muted stitching (not sure if that's true on all straps, but it is on both of mine.) I bought a simple one as a trial and loved it so much that over the next 2 months I bought another strap and 4 more buckles. What I love:* The look. I love being able to throw in a splash of color (i.e. I wore a green buckle on St. Patrick's Day) but also being able to play it down if I'm feeling more introverted that day* The function. In an office setting I rarely have to adjust. They claim that these don't slip, and MOSTLY they don't, but I don't find I'm re-tightening a couple times per day. In an active setting, like throwing the football around last weekend it didn't keep up nearly as well.* Works with my jeans or my suit (unless you are my mom, she didn't think it was "suit worthy")* No holes! Sometimes I'm bigger than other times. This belt ALWAYS fits. There's no oscillating between holes depending on time of day or what I ate for lunch, it just always fits. What I don't love as much* Even though they say it won't slip, it does a little bit, but only when I'm more active. For instance, I haven't touched it in 5 hours and it's still just fine here at work.* ... yeah, that's about it.

Nice Jewelry - Beautiful Buckle
.... But not a belt, if you define a belt as something that will hold your pants up and carry a small iPhone. Original "cinch" does not hold and the belt loosens within minutes of moderate activity. Have been loosing weight and after punching a couple holes in a quality leather belt was looking for something continuously variable for the last 10 pounds or so. Unfortunately with many of my shorts and pants now 2" too large, I need a belt that will hold them up. This one does not.

okay, but hard to adjust after initial set
Most belts are adjusted from the outside of the belt by pulling the end to either the right hole, or if using friction or a clasp, but pulling to the right tightness around the waist and clamping the buckle and belt in place. This belt has the end fed through the slit behind the buckle, feeding the end of the belt behind the belt through the belt loop. As such, adjusting the belt after you've walked awhile, or ridden in the car and get out and need to adjust the belt, is not easy. The friction is from the belt through the slit behind the buckle, so to adjust higher or more loose you have to pull the buckle away from your body with one hand while moving the belt in an angular fashion feeding more in or pulling some out in order to adjust. To anyone watching it may look like you're wrestling something around your waist - it isn't graceful to adjust after you first pull on your pants and set the belt. Light weight for sure, no moving parts, just not easy to adjust - my guess is the more you suffer from dunlop disease - your belly dun lopped over your belt - the more difficult it would be to adjust. Flat stomach means more easily pulled away from the body to get that slack to adjust it. Bigger stomach...not so easy. Simple concept, works well, just not easy to adjust after the initial set.

Does not stay tight. Diffucult to adjust. Get a ratcheting SlideBelt or Mission Belt instead.
I had a mission belt for a couple of years and the Prather was getting worn. Saw Grip6 and I thought it looked like a good product despite its high price. I was wrong. The belt does not stay tight and is difficult to adjust. I went back to using my worn mission belt and it worked much better. I went ahead and bought a SlideBelt and I am pleased with both ratcheting belts I have now. I will be returning the Grip6 belt.

Excellent product!
This is a fantastic belt. The style of fastening is a bit different to a conventional belt, but you soon get used to it.I bought the Grip6 belt and a very slightly cheaper Chinese version, which works in exactly the same way, around the same time to make a comparison. Although the two looked almost identical from the pictures on the product page they are two very different belts. The Chinese version has a much lower grade aluminium buckle and a heavier but cheaper belt fabric. The Grip6 is far superior in quality and performance and is only a few pounds more than the Chinese version. If you are considering this style of belt and are wondering whether to save a few pounds by getting the Chinese version, do yourself a favour and just get this one. Take that from someone who has purchased and tested both.

Low profile, comfortable and seriously stylish
I’ve always loved interesting belts and owned a variety of differing styles, so I was keen to try this simple redesigned Grip6 belt out. It’s got a great low profile buckle with the added benefit of fitting your waist exactly, instead of relying on a fixed set of hole sizes. So if you’ve eaten too much, just readjust a touch and you’re good to go. This Grip6 belt sits really snugly and doesn’t work loose, whilst still looking great through out the day, no matter what you’re doing either.I’m a UK size 32” (81.28cm) and bought a 105cm belt, but the 100cm belt would have worked too. So long as you choose a belt that’s at least 5-10cm longer than your actual waist size you’ll be fine. The only down side I can list isn’t a Grip6 issue, but the import tax to the UK. I bought 2 of these belts and paid £13 extra to get them after customs added their 29% and the Royal Mail added an £8 handling charge! That still doesn’t beat the fact that these are exceptional belts. Once I find a UK supplier, I’ll be buying a lot more of them.

Just the job!
For years I have used automatic belts. As far as I’m concerned, their major problem being the fact that the buckle has the tendency to dig into my stomach when seated! That’s why I tried a GRIP6 belt.Problem solved! No more lumpy buckles and the belt material is very flexible. You don’t know you’re wearing a belt.No complaints regarding delivery, two weeks to arrive from the USA to the UK via Germany can’t be bad. What’s more, the belt has a lifetime guarantee! One very satisfied customer.

Be aware you will pay import duties...
The belt itself is fine but what with having to pay the import fees to Royal Mail here in the UK, it turns out to be more expensive than anticipated. £12.24 import fees on top of the £26.48 for the bel comes to £38.72. Provided that you can live with that, it’s a good belt. I think the maker needs to put a bit more thought into keeping it’s international customers happy, the USA is just one country amongst many.

seems good
Received this today. The package was left uncovered, on a rainy day, someway outside the house. Luckily the envelope is waterproof. Have tried it on and feel good. I have one the same size as my pant, long enough and easy to put it on. Still doubt that if it worth the money, will see.

Great belt - strong without being visible

Expensive mediocre belt
Not bad a bit awkward to tight on up and had to pay extra custom duty on arrival . Slick American advertising but this is nothing special I prefer my belt from Aldi.

Best belt I ever bought...
Great belt, comfortable and sturdy. One thing that I will say, and this isn't the fault of the company, is I was slapped with a £12 customs charge. So bare that in mind when buying this product in the UK.Fantastic product though, and I will never go back to substandard belt holes again!

The ideal belt?
Clever idea, always fits perfectly and damn strong, can't see how it would ever break.

You Will be Charged a Customs Duty for Import!!!!!!!!!!
I really like this belt but it cost me far more than I was expecting after being stung for customs. It should not be for sale on the UK site or have a prominent warning! The belt is so good however, I will probably buy more the next time I'm in the USA

Really good customer service
It's a great product exactly as described. I ordered a size below because I didn't want to cut it but it's only 2 inches longer than my waist which is perfect.I also got hit with £4 import change and £8 handling but I wrote to grio6 and they refunded me.Thanks for that.

Excellent Grip 6 Belt
Have been using this belt for a few weeks now in work on a 12hr day and it does the job. Never have to adjust it. Once you have it tight it stays tight. Also very stylish. Will definitely be purchasing different colours.
