These clips seem to be sturdy and they are attractive. They do the job without being too attention-getting when you don't want to call attention to the part of your hair that is clipped back. If you do want to call attention to that, you might want something with a more ornate design or in a brighter color.I would prefer that the clamp was not so strong since it can hurt if not used on thick hair or used on sections of hair.The pictures in the product listing are accurate, as it the description.
