Women Are Some Kind of Magic boxed set

So far I've read the first book. I thought this would be great for me to help me with my depression and grief. Reading it, I felt like I was not alone and it had been written for me. Beautiful books. Would recommend. There's a trigger warning in the beginning of the book, which I was glad was there. It helped me heal some from my constant complex ptsd attacks. Anyone feeling alone and going thru trauma or abuse would find this book helpful and healing.

I love all of her work she is a poetic genius. The words are lush and exquisite while the topics are harsh and difficult. I am an English teacher and will be sharing her work during our poetry unit. I think the students will really relate to the themes and her style. I totally recommend. Plus I have always loved a boxed set!

This would be a really good book for women who are victim-survivors of sexual assault. I was looking for a book to aide in self growth and love, and while there are some really great points for that in this collection, it’s not exactly what I was good for, but still excellent.

This is beautifully written poetry for empowered women everywhere! Each contains a trigger warning, and the poems can get heavy, but this entire collection is an absolute pleasure to read. It really resonated with me, and I highly recommend them all.

Amanda Lovelace is one of the first poetry writers who's work truly speaks to me. I would have never thought I would ever be someone to truly enjoy poetry, but with her words I just do. Truly marvelous work.Still I was a little bit sad that the books I ordered were damaged (even though only a little). It seems that the cover of them is a little bit chipped away, even though it was wrapped in plastic. Therefore the book gets a 5 out of 5, but for the damage, as little as it is, I will deduct one point from the seller.

These books are very empowering for women. Poems can be therapy for some people. These books are for uplifting and healing and a girl power way. I enjoyed them. Artwork/Book art was very nice.

De poezie (en dat is waar het uiteindelijk om gaat natuurlijk) is krachtig en mooi, maar de box waarin de set zit is te krap, waardoor de boekjes er niet onbeschadigd uitkomen en er ook alleen met flink wat kracht weer in terug te krijgen zijn. Jammer. Ziet er mooi uit, maar materiaal is goedkoop en de uitvoering is slecht.
