Many (40+) years ago, I was given a pair of pillows made my from great-grandmother's feather comforter. Those pillows have stood up well for all those years. Recently, however, I acquired 2 puppies. When my back was turned (NOTE: NEVER turn your back on a pair of puppies!) they completely shredded one of my pillows. The loss was devastating as, not only was it an heirloom, but it was a wonderfully comfortable pillow! Because I live in the official Middle-of-Nowhere, I couldn't find a replacement in our local stores. I didn't really want to order this pillow sight unseen, but I didn't have much choice. So...The 2-pack of pillows arrived in two days, and were packaged very cleverly in vacuum-sealed plastic so they would fit in a reasonable-sized box. Once open, they fluffed immediately and completely. There were no clumps and no quills poking out. There was also no smell, as some purchasers have complained. The fabric and seams are more heavy-duty than I expected, and they look like they will hold up well. They are not the firmest pillows but, if you want serious firmness, I don't recommend a feather pillow anyway. The one I slept on last night was deliciously comfortable and moldable to any shape I wanted. Of course, I have only used them one night and, if my opinion changes, I will update this review. As of today, though, I LOVE this pillow!

I've e had these pillows for a week so far. I'm in love. They are perfect for my Goldie Locks self. I have a set of memory foam pillows that were just too firm. I also have a set of Tommy Hilfiger pillows that were just too skinny and flimsy. These are just perfect. The firm ones provided good neck support but they hurt my ears. The soft ones were just too flimsy. These down pillows are both soft and provide support without being uncomfortable. You sink into them but without sinking all the way. They also stay cool. The price was definitely right too. They are hotel quality and I am so happy I purchased these. No feather issues so far. I'm impressed.

I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to get these pillows. They changed my life. No more neck, shoulder or upper back pain and I wake completely rested and in a great mood ready to start my day. The cotton covering is very soft. The slight crunchy sound does nor bother me and protects 100% from feathers poking me. I found no smell at all and I have an overactive nose. Both pillows fluffed up within 10 minutes of being out of the box. I'm a side/back sleeper and I use both pillows when on my side and only one pillow when on my back. The volume is fantastic and still able to squish the pillows to support the nooks around my head and shoulders. I can't think of any downside to this purchase, and I do tend to be very fussy.

I read many reviews on these pillows and read several complaints on feathers poking out and being too firm. I do not have any of these issues. The pillow are soft, fluffy just like the Hilton style hotel collection. They are excellent quality for the value. I will be ordering 2 more. Shipped in a vacuum sealed bag, they fluffed up in the dryer for 5 mins. No smell and comfy. 5🌟

I bought these to replace my previous 100% down pillows and these are not the same as those. First off, they come vacuum packed so they have to be fluffed out but that's not a big deal.What I found strange was that while I was fluffing them, the inside feels like there's flat bits, almost like patches of pieces of thin cardboard until they're fluffed too. But then that same texture will appear in other areas. It's hard to explain what it feels like. However, when I lay my head on the pillow, it does have decent support, but most of the filling gets pushed up so I have to flip the pillow over throughout the night in order to get the fluffiness and support that I want/need.I am NOT using both of the pillows that came in the set but maybe I will to see if that works better.
