First time buying this brand for for my dryer almost 10 years now! I have replaced this knob probably 10 or more times and GE will not recall this knob or send out a new made from something more sturdy or at a higher quality!. So found this one here on Amazon for great price, now will it live up to durability?

I bought the package of two, so if it doesn't last as long as needed I won't have to wait for another one on an order. This style has a metal band around the shaft, hoping it will last longer, and help to keep the plastic part from cracking.

They improved them by the addition of a metal band around the inside where the plastic would Crack from stress.

fits great. the original timer on the our washing machine had become hard to turn.all ok now.

This product controls my clothes dryer. It works well and the shipping time was fantastic.

Both did not work at all, far to loose. They were definitely supposed to be the right part according to the description and part numbers, poorly made. Ended up ordering 2 OEM knobs from Grainger, worked fine, taped the 2nd behind the dryer for a spare

Both cracked within days of installing. You get what you pay for !

They fit a little loose, but do the job.
