My friends loves this book
I bought this book for a friend of mine who got pregnant 5 months ago. I didn't want to buy one of those usual, dry pregnancy book but something that is informative yet a lot of fun. "The Hot Mom to Be Handbook" is exactly what I was looking for. It was delivered on a Friday, and I read through it myself on the weekend because I couldn't put it down. I read some parts to my husband, and he was laughing so hard... :-)The book provides a LOT of information and helpful links and resources. It really is a very good book for pregnant women. However, the humorous way it is written, and the hilarious stories from other women that are included in this book, make this book unique and an absolute must-buy..! It would probably be a good idea to buy an additional book that contains more medical advice, i.e. "Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy", but "The Hot Mom to Be Handbook" is still absolutely awesome..!! Highly recommend it.

Surprisingly enjoyed the book!
I'm not usually a fan of these types of books. I will flip through them and find them a bit off putting.I saw this book in target and i have to say i was drawn in by the cover! I'm glad i was! I really enjoyed the book! (I actually came home and ordered it for my kindle). I really liked what she had to say and the chapters were great. I really appreciated the little bits on food she put in. She gives food tips and ideas that are healthy choices but yet seem appetizing. And all the tips on how to pamper yourself.I also love the websites she puts up and how she links them, ie: if you're wanting to splurge or if you're wanting to save or if you're going green. She also talks about lots of organic products too. This is a book i will save for when i next have a "bundle of joy" :P!

The Hot Mom to Be Handbook
I saw the sequel to this book at Target and purchased it as a shower gift for a friend's daughter. When I was invited to another baby shower recently, I ordered this 'pre-baby' version. I haven't read it, but the mom-to-be seemed very pleased by the volume.

Definitely the worst pregnancy book I have read so far
This book is a hodge pudge of the author's thoughts and random testimonials. It lacks flow and continuity. If you want a fun and interesting perspective on pregnancy, I would recommend A Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy instead.

Good Starter Book for Resources
When I first found out I was pregnant, I honestly didn't feel pregnant nor was I really ready to embrace pregnancy. Enter this book. I knew I had to start somewhere, and somehow, this book with its freshness and peppy woman-to-woman talk really appealed to me. As I enter my 17th week, I have gone back to it for resources and just a review of some sorts. The book is divided by month and as I am now about 4 months preggo, I answered til then. I first bought this on Kindle, but found so many resources I wanted to bookmark that I bought it on paperback. I don't regret buying it a bit; the book is now studded with Post-it flags! Thank goodness for this book!

Love love loved this book!
I really enjoyed this one! I am not much of a reader, but I quickly finished the entire book. I thought it had a lot of great insight for a first time mom-to-be. It gave me a lot of ideas for things that I hadn't even considered, (I had a large prep list prior to reading, too!).I would recommend this anyone! I only wish I had read it from the very beginning.

Two Stars
This book is utterly worthless, and offered no practical tips.

Good book but outdated info
This was a fun and entertaining book. The only thing wrong is there are a lot of websites they reccommend to check out and they no longer exist.
