I trusted my new spinning wheel with this and it did a beautiful job
This was so easy to apply! I just lightly sanded the wheel parts and put two coats of oil on according to instructions on the Walrus Oil web site. It looks great and I am very pleased. Many wooden spinning wheels come unfinished, and I really thought it would be way too much work to finish one all on my own.

Works better than MinWax
I use this on an old oak kitchen table than does not have a varnish on it. It has helped prevent water rings from glasses. Takes some elbow grease to apply and buff out, but well worth it.

Great product
Love this Walrus Oil furniture wax. It's a good compliment to their furniture oil. After 2 coats of the oil some wood can look a bit dry or pale. This produces the nice freshly finished wet look without the plastic feel of lacquer or epoxy. Also adding some water protection.

My new go to
Used this on a cutting board for the first time and man did it make the board smooth. Also the smell is not bad. Ive used other cutting board waxes and it left the board smelling like it had sausage or something cut on it despite the board being new. Resurface that same board and used regular mineral oil coated with this wax and huge difference. Smell like wood now. Only complaint is ots a bit difficult to get out. I tried wiping it with a rag but couldn't really get any onto the rag. I ended up using scrap wood and shaved a bit off the top onto my board. Not a big deal but I think I'll look into the bottle version next time. All in all I feel this is going to be my go to wax and I will be ordering a lot of it for my shop.

You Might Turn Into A Walrus!
Yea, I used this stuff over the course of a few days, and it worked really well, but then things began to change. I'd walk back inside after a long day of waxing and look at myself in the mirror. It was only small things at first. A whisker here and there, maybe a wrinkle or two...but then after a few weeks I realized something was terribly wrong. My teeth started to grow, like long chiseled tusks, my mustache was out of control, and my face began to droop. I'd even wake up in the middle of the night barking out of control, like a....like a....WALRUS!!!

Gorgeous finish on a live edge hand made table
The top of the table is so smooth and looks like a professional finish. I would highly recommend this easy to use finish to take your home projects to the next level.

nice mellow shine
I have never paste waxed my furniture before. It's a bit of work, but the results are stunning. The shine is mellow and the wood looks healthy. I have some antique pieces and they love it
