I am from Central Asia and this is a an authentic kazan! It worked great. It does not suppose to have a flat bottom so it won’t work great on flat surfaces. What you need is a propane based holder or a tandoor type holder. I used it with a propane one and it was the best plov I’ve had in a while!

Too light, not stable.

I bought this kazan from another supplier, but kazan is the same. For indoor cooking, this kazan is great. Look at the pictures. This is how I adjusted gas stove burner to use kazan properly. The only complaint I have about this kazan is that when my order was delivered, kazan did not have perfect round shape, so I cannot use its lid and use stainless steel bowl instead. 5 stars anyway.
