Really like this pomegranate preserve, so useful in North African recipes and makes an incredible salad dressing with a little oil and lemon or vinegar.Adds a fresh sweetness too, good on couscous or tagines

Authentic Turkish produce
I usually buy this in Turkey when on holidays, but Covid has meant I’ve run out! Delighted to find this on sale in the UK. Same delicious taste, arrived promptly & well packed.It’s more expensive than Turkish prices, but worth it to add to salads for a sweet and delicious dressing.

The main ingredient is glucose syrup!
Looking at the ingredients, the main one is glucose syrup, followed by pomegranate juice (17%). I guess much depends on the concentration of the pomegranate juice, but the Odysea brand claims to be 100% pomegranate juice and the price is similar.

Sharp taste
Sadly this is a very disappointing product - it has a sharp taste and lacks the full flavour of a great pomegranate molasses.
