Do the bristles have enough grip to use on thin, fine medium length hair?

Yes, I have very fine hair and it does a nice job

is this available in a smaller barrel? Or is there a very similar blower brush with ceramic tourmaline with a smaller barrel?

I did not find a smaller barrel. It did work well on shorter hair however.

Does this have boar bristles? Due to religious restrictions, i cannot use this if it has Boar Bristles.
