Beats the taste of other non-calorie sweeteners by a mile, but.....
...the trade off is cost.I have tried most of the sugar substitutes on the market and for my taste buds, this is by far the best, with no aftertaste. However, it is costly - for two reasons. The first is that it just plain costs more - $17 a pound is more than just about every sugar substitute I can think of except maybe one containing ground up diamonds. The second reason is that is slightly less sweet than sugar so you use a bit more, thereby making it more expensive to use overall. That said though, I am still using it and here's why...1. Taste. To me, it is really, really good without the aftertaste of...well...everything else I have tried.2. 0 calories AND a Gycemic Index of 0: I am diabetic so glycemic index in important. For example, Splenda may be 0 calories, but it has aglycemic index of 50 (pure sugar has a GI of 100). That means it still spikes your blood sugar because you body treats it in that respect likesugar. For calorie counters that's not an issue, but for diabetics, it's to be avoided.3. Cost management: I don't use it for everything. For example, I drink a lot of meal-replacemnt shakes and add Stevia because the after-tasteisn't an issue. But for a cup of tea, this monk fruit sweetener is the way to go because I don't use a lot, I get the sugar taste, get no after tasteand I am happy. A little of this stuff will last me long enough that I can handle the cost. If I was using it in everything, I'd have to get a secondjob to support my Monk Fruit habit. I mean, it's good, but its not that good. This way, it works for me.

Wonderful product! Good for Keto diet!
I love monk fruit sweetener and Health Garden brand is very good. Mixes and tastes fantastic. Has just enough erythritol to help boost its sweetness to just the perfect amount. I could not use 100% erythritol by itself as it would cause intestinal problems for me, but this monk fruit mix is perfect and no more intestinal problems. Buying the one pound here on Amazon is far more cost effective than purchasing locally in a grocery store, that's if you could find it at all because not every store carries this. Very good value. Very good taste. Don't hesitate. Dump your regular sugar and go with this low glycemic sweetener and stop spiking your insulin levels. Monk fruit sweetener was also tested to work very well with Keto diets. You'll feel better but still be able to enjoy something sweet.

The best sugar alternative/replacement so far
Thanks for those who left the good reviews of the product. I've got this based on those good reviews and this stuff turned out to be the best, I mean, the best sugar alternative/replacement so far. It is recommended to test using this product before making a ton of, say, stuff like cookies. This Monk Fruit sweetener is much sweeter than sugar so that one can't simply use the same amount of the sugar in a recipe. It also seem to have different melting point or something like that so that one might need to adjust the time or temperature for, say, baking with it. Once getting used to using it, you'll love it. No one so far identified that this has been used in the food (all thought sugar was used). A terrific sweetener.

Delicious, but pricey
I was looking for a monk fruit sweetener that would also be suitable for a diabetic, and without the unpleasant gastrointestinal effects of many of the other sweeteners available. I have to say this product is absolutely delicious. I use it to make homemade cocoa mix for chocolate milk and hot chocolate, and it is terrific in it. It is sweeter than Monk Fruit in the Raw (my other choice), and there are no tummy problems afterward, Why not 5 stars? That is simply because of the cost. This one pound bag costs $17, and it is akin to a pound of sugar--that it, just a couple of cups. I will definitely buy it again, but I will feel the pain in my wallet.

Best... Stuff... EVER!!!
Can't speak to reviews about ingredients, other than to say that I checked all three brands of monkfruit sweetener in my cabinet, & all have the same ingredients, listed in the same order. As for expense, heck... you know how much it costs before you order it. I do have to say that the higher cost is actually helpful in getting me to wean back on the amount of sweetness I require in my coffee and cereal. I stretch it by using a smaller amount of stevia when I need a good bit of sweetness added. For example, I use 2 T monkfruit, in addition to 1 tsp. stevia, for a small pitcher of green tea. This isn't a concentrated sweetener so you must use more than you would of stevia, but I think this kills most of stevia's aftertaste, with proper proportions. I canNOT get enough of monkfruit sweeteners. Now if only I could remember to have travel packets with me at all times, I might be able to give up my sugar addiction altogether.

I do not like Eurithrytol and would never have bought that product
This advertising itself as Monk Fruit but it's actually Eurithrytol. The main ingredient is NOT something completely other than what it's called. Monk Fruit is only the SECOND ingredient. This is false advertising and fraudulent. The consumer is buying one product thinking it is something else. I do not like Eurithrytol and would never have bought that product. Now I'm stuck with something I did not intend to buy. There are laws against false advertising and I intend to submit this to the proper authorities. But this takes time to figure out, and it's unfair to put a consumer through this. This is taking money under false pretenses. Wrong, and extremely disappointing.

Excellent sugar substitute product, with likely no side effects
In my opinion, it is an excellent product for any person who wants to control own blood sugar level without sacrificing the taste of the favorite meals. My wife had a dangerously elevated blood sugar and decided to get rid of sugar-contained products. We decided to substitute sugar with Monk fruit extract in all of our meals called for use of sugar. Results: my wife blood sugar level decreased and stabilized at safe level in just few months of use of the Monk fruit. I am not a dietitian or health care professional, so don't take it as a health advice. We are just very pleased that this product works. And it is tasty and more "sugary" in taste, than regular sugar.
