This product combined with removing dry food has appeared to help my cat who was crying for the last couple days. Going to the litter box multiple times and straining to urinate. Although my cat was not completely blocked and he was always going in the box I could tell he was distressed. I always had dry food/ wet food diet for my indoor male cat. First I eliminated the dry food. Furthermore, mixing this and adding a little extra water into the wet food has helped my cat urinate normally again. I have a medical background so it is common sense to me but make sure you remove the casing and mix the powder into your cats wet food. I cancelled a vet appointment after my cats symptoms disipated. My dog was very prone to urinary tract infections four years. I started giving her these pills with her meals. She sometimes eats around them, so she misses doses occasionally. However she had only had one infection since I started giving her the pills a few years ago. The pill is kinda big.

My beagle gets frequent UTIs, up to 7 a year. She's been on this 2x a day since March and I haven't noticed any hallmark signs of a UTI. Even the irritation around her lady parts has died down. I'd like to think it's all thanks to a daily regimen of these cranberry capsules and probiotics. Much better, and cost effective, to be proactive. Not to mention, less antibiotics for my beagle girl. Only downside is the capsules tend to require some work to get the powder out. I sprinkle it over her food.

Everyone knows you can’t give a cat a capsule. You open it and sprinkle the contents onto their food. Impossible with this cranberry capsule. The inside was as hard as rock candy. I tried mashing it between two spoons to be able to bury it in the food. But it’s a pain in the butt. It was well within sell by date, so it was not old. For the price I had to use it, but I’m never buying it again.

I regretted buying this product because my cat refused to eat it. And I’m not about to jam it down his throat every day as a supplement for her bladder infections. It is not practical for cats. It is too large to give in food, and it is too bitter for mixing with the food.

My vet advised me to give my Yorkie cranberry supplements in addition to other meds I have used other supplements from this company in the past and trust the quality will be good. Along with getting my little guy to hydrate more his kidney functions are ok. All seems to be good so far and he hasn’t complained once.
