Great quality for $20
For $20, I am honestly shocked at how well these work and how good they look. I bought them so I could get closer detail photos for wedding photography without having to spend $2K on a new lens, and I am beyond happy. They DO feel cheap and plastic (because they are) but they held really well with my 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm (though I did support the lens with my hand just in case). You can stack them to make different focal lengths, which is nice! The auto focus is a little rocky, especially if you don’t have stable hands, but still does really well considering! Really happy with this purchase.Edit: 8/21/22 definitely feeling a 4.5-5 rating for something that’s only $20I’ve been using these at all of my weddings for ring shots and it has been a game changer. I found that the sweet spot for the focus is between 4.2-5.6 aperture, and separating the lenses to get different lengths of focus has been perfect for different setups.Pros: multiple focus lengths, AF capabilities, cheap, light, easy to store, pretty sharp with a wider f/stop, great for stillsCons: attaching can be difficult and it scares me sometimes but all of the lenses work well and haven’t hurt the attachment pieces of my camera that I’ve seen, Servo AF goes back and forth a lot with me but I rock easily out of focus if I’m not on Servo so I have to take 5-10 photos to make sure I’m in focus on the right place.Overall super awesome. Just testing durability and longevity at this point!

Good for an introduction to macro photography
These are a great alternative if you don't want to spend a bundle on a macro lens. They are all plastic so care must be taken when handling them (I imagine that the Kenko brand are much sturdier, but they are also more expensive). It is recommended that you attach these on your camera first and then your lens. I read on one of the reviews that the auto focus does not work, but I had no trouble on my Canon T7 (I actually preferred the manual focus anyway). The depth of field is very limited, but that is to be expected. You will want to have plenty of light, especially if you use these indoors. I'm looking forward to warmer weather to try these outside. The attached photos will give you a sample of their performance. The 3 photos of the dime were taken with the 13mm, 21mm, and the 31mm respectively. I took the cactus with the aperture at f18 hoping to get a little more depth of field, but it really didn't help. The more light you can let in the better.Although I'm not planning on doing a lot of macro photography, I did have some fun with these. They take a little patience and practice to get used to, but so far, I'm happy with them. You can use each tube separately, or combine them. There are 7 combinations all together. They're not something that the professional or more experienced photographer would want, but if you are new to digital photography they can be quite fun to use.

Strong do NOT buy, they are Plastic not Metal
these rings are all plastic with exception of the contacts (they need to be metal for conductivity) though it is suitable to have the tubes actually plastic, the mounts should be metal. on these they are also plastic. the alignment dots are not in the correct location for canon cameras so installation is tricky and must be done by feel. this is not the safest for your lenses and if you are using anything larger than something like say the canon 18-55 kit lens they are weak and may not hold your lens. Also the plastic mount causes poor alignment due to flex. I will be returning these and purchasing others in this price range that are actually metal.

Not the best quality but it does work
I'll start off with the good. The packaging was okay. Not amazing but okay. The tubes came in a velvet bag that was inside a box with decently thick cardboard. The extension tubes work as designed and my camera was able to recognize my lens and auto focus works (although for macro you probably don't wanna use autofocus). It would definitely be a great starter kit to use with your kit lens to get a foot in the door with macro photography. Now for the not so good. The plastic feels cheap. Like super cheap. The metal pins in the tubes make a kind of scraping sound when I put my lens on and I feel like that can't be too good for your lens. Mount that your lens goes into is plastic, so don't drop it.Overall, I think for the price, it's about what I expected. If you're wanting to try out macro without spending a bunch of money, get these, but don't expect them to last forever.

Affordable and effective
I’m new to the photography world. I’m not trying to sell professional photos. I am still learning lighting, shutter speed, focal length and everything but I have been able to capture nice macro images using these. I would recommend.

Good intro to macro photography. (Too long didn't read: A little challenging but fun product)
It was pretty fun to use, if you can't afford to spend an atrocious amount of money on a macro lens, I'd recommend getting this. It is a little more weird to work compared to a macro lens filter, but I feel it's worth it for the better image quality. (Advice from here on out) One thing if you are getting into macro in general, it requires a lot a patience and being able to mess with your camera in manual mode. I say this because, although this lens does have auto focus, you shouldn't shoot in it as it is a little bad through the tube and you can end up with unsatisfactory photos. One very big con for this is that it requires a LOT of lighting to shoot photos. I'd recommend only doing them during the daytime or at night with a flash that has some sort of diffuser, (you can make them yourself if needed, just some milk cartoons and masking tape can work if you're the DIY type). I won't ramble on for very long but, I also recommend a camera stand as shaking can ruin your photo. I've added some photos I took and that's about all :)

Rock bottom build quality
Pros: AF does work, of course with the limitation that extension tubes impose on the focus distance.Cons: Dollar store children's toys are built to higher standards. These flex and bend, which can cause . The locking notch was unusable out of the box on the 21mm tube, and the 31mm's was rendered unusable within a few hours. The tubes still technically work, but I wouldn't trust them with glass of any value as they are not properly secured. Conclusion: Look for something made of metal.
