Black Bear Market All Natural Hot Chocolate 24 Count

Purchased a box of k-cups for my Mom, her diet is all natural and organic. She loves an occasional hot chocolate, but couldn’t find any without all the artificial junk. I was thrilled to come across Black Bear Market hot chocolate with all natural ingredients. I ordered a box and had it shipped to Mom. She LOVES it!! Said it wasn’t too sweet (like most hot chocolates with processed sugar) and very creamy. She has a cup a day during her break and feels good to be drinking a product with high quality ingredients. Plus, she likes the convenience of using the k-cups in her Keurig. I too was excited that I nailed a great gift for Mom!! I would highly recommend this hot chocolate, you can’t go wrong if you care about what’s in your beverages. I will be ordering more in the near future. I bought a box of this stuff a year ago and didn't like it very much, thinking it was too watery tasting. I complained about it and immediately got an email from the seller saying they were sorry I didn't care for the product and issuing a full refund.Since then I've been experimenting with the product. At first I was setting the Keurig brewer for either a 10 or 12 ounce brew. I've since experimented with the 6 and 8 ounce settings and have found they, of course, produce a much fuller tasting hot chocolate. Additionally, I tried adding a teaspoon full of Hershey's Chocolate Syrup to the cup prior to running the product through the Keurig and stirring it in during the brief brewing process. While the added syrup isn't really necessary at the 6 ounce setting, I've found that adding it to the 8 ounce setting produces a steaming cup of hot chocolate that is very much to my liking. Today I placed a second order for a product that I did not like when I first tried it.I'm glad I kept working with the product and gave it a second chance. This is a top notch seller and I'm happy to be able to give them my patronage.

The Black Bear Market All Natural Hot Chocolate is a 24 count single serve cup package of hot chocolate. This works with the Keurig Brewer (not the Vue or 2.0). I wanted to say something about the box that the cups come in first. We buy a TON of coffee, hot chocolate, tea, etc... for the Keurig. We buy all different brands. Most of the boxes have the tear out on the side making it easier to get to the k-cups. I was very appreciate to Black Bear Market that their box had this design as well. This little piece of convenience says a lot about the thought that goes into a product.The Black Bear Market All Natural Hot Chocolate is made completely from natural ingredients. There are no artificial flavors or colors. Each cup of hot chocolate only has 50 calories, 0 fat and 9 grams of sugar. This is great for those of us who try to eat healthy. I don't like to use up a ton of calories on drinks so I always look for the low calories options.So I know the big question most people probably have is how does it taste! I tried to think of something to compare the taste too but could not come up with anything comparable. When the hot chocolate was coming out of the brewer into the mug, I could tell then that it was different. It was not as dark or rich looking. (I don't mean dark chocolate, just the way the other brands of hot chocolate have looked.) If you are used to drinking regular hot chocolate either via the Keurig or just powdered hot chocolate, this will taste different to you. This hot chocolate does not have a super sweet chocolate flavor. It is a rather watered down flavor. I gave it 3 stars because it really doesn't taste great to me. I think even with natural ingredients, you could get a stronger, more chocolaty flavor to it. I ended up putting a little sugar in mine just to add a little more sweetness. I am appreciative that it does not have artificial sweeteners in it because artificial sweeteners give me migraines. I just added a little more natural sweetener (sugar) to it and it tastes better. It did take me some getting used to because it does have a different tastes overall then other hot chocolate.I received this as a free promotional sample in exchange for my evaluation and honest, unbiased review.

This tastes pretty good. I bought it based off the ingredients list and reviews, although most of them were "review in exchange" types. I paid full price FYI. I think it's a fine tasting hot chocolate and I didn't notice the sickly, articifical or chemical taste of some of the other "hot chocolates drinks" I got in other kcup variety packs. I couldn't even drink those. I don't like my hot chocolate messed with by throwing in additional flavors either, I just want good tasting hot chocolate and this delivered. Before I got a Keurig it had been a long while since I've made any packed hot chocolates for myself so I can't really compare this to other things on the market but it was certainly sweet and creamy enough for me and I can't imagine adding sugar to this! I suppose you could toss in a marshmallow or two if that's your thing, it would be better than trying to get that flavor built in to a prepackaged mix.One thing does confuse me a little though, there is another hot chocolate for sale here on Amazon that uses this exact packaging..the box and the kcups themselves. The only different seems to be the sticker on the outside listing the ingredients and the company name. Part of me wonders what I'm actually getting because of that. It's probably just packed by the same company but still...I wish there was SOMETHING on the kcup that indicated this was the BLACK BEAR version.
