Poor range. Only good for short <3m casting distance
Poor wifi range. Tried to use outside with a projector at a distance of 5m but the picture quality and lag meant it was unwatchable. Now bought a very long HDMI cable instead which gives a much more reliable connection.

Doesn’t mirror for more than 10mins of IOS
So my one of these arrived today. But for some reason after 10 mins of using airplay screen mirroring this the picture cuts out and the unit gets super hot.Not really sure if this is a problem with just my unit or a more general problem...

Mirroring dongle did not function as intended. Poor quality mirroring onto my projector.

Did not work
Could not get this to work with any of my iOS or OS X devices, even though I could connect to its WiFi. Downloading the app did not help. Even if it had worked, it probably would not have done what I needed, since having to connect to the dongle's WiFi presumably means you cannot stream content from the Internet at the same time.
