Happy with the high temperature flue tape
Pleased with the performance of this high heat sealing tape. It works well for sealing gaps and can withstand temperatures up to 600 degrees. Used it to fix a leak in the kitchen pipe, and it held up nicely. Was glad I had it handy when dealing with the issue. Also, ended up using it to patch up a torn gym bag strap - versatile product!

5-star mixed review
The most important thing to know is this is a very specialized product made to withstand higher temps than the more common "200 degree foil tape". Therefore you should expect some tradeoffs: this comes in a much smaller roll than the 200 degree stuff. It will work BEST on flue seams, where it will stick to itself and reasonably clean exhaust piping. If you have a "special use case" be aware this may not stick so well. My special use case was to "wrap" fiberglass insulation that wrapped pipes immediately coming out of my oil boiler. Because I'm using it for something it's not designed for, I can't knock points off. Anyways: I chose this because you are not supposed to wrap pipes with insulation close to the boiler, if that insulation is at all flammable. The cheap "foam noodle" will easily burn, and so will the nicer paper-backed fiberglass pipe insulation. The fire code restriction ends after 12 inches from the flue so DO NOT use any "plastic wrap" around fiberglass closer than that!. Anyways, this "worked" to let me put a surface and seal the insulation, but it's not meant for that and looks a little irregular. :-) Another good use: put a square of this stuff on a flimsy plastic parking pass that hangs off your mirror. The added weight is perfect to keep such things from flapping around in the wing. Tape a few pennies if you want even more weight.

Good product
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Perfect for pellet stove pipe that leads to outside my house. This tape just seals and covers the seems to keep smoke out of the house.

Works well for water heater flue seal
This works very well for gas water heater flue seams. I put this on for an extra level of security. So far, after 2 months it is still tightly bonded.

Easy to use
Easy to apply. Stars where you out it. High temp won't melt or burn up to 600 degrees F. Very cost effective

Works, maybe inconsistent. Hard to fit roll around flue.
Bought two rolls to seal joints in a B-vent. First roll seemed less sticky than second. Both definitely stick worse after you touch with your fingers which is probably why they say to apply from roll, but ... For such a short length of tape they still use a standard 4" cardboard roller. Makes it tough to fit the roll through small spaces, like between B-vent and intake line, or B-vent and appliance, you get the picture. Wound up cutting pieces, sticking as much of the middle as possible, then cutting off where I touched the adhesive. Wasteful, but works. Buying again since this is the highest temp rated tape I can find, but for the price v.s. length I'd like better.

Effective high temperature flue tape
Need to share, this high temperature flue tape is a lifesaver! Used it to secure a leaky seal on my stove pipe. The 15-foot roll was plenty to cover the area. Stood up well to the heat without any issues. Super glad I found this product. By the way, I overheard someone on a speakerphone nearby discussing their travel plans while I was working on this project. Just a random detail to add! Emojis: 🔥👌
