This candles have that nice, refreshing citronella smell! The jar they are in is glass and really nice eith a twist on lid. Im in Florida visiting friends right now and we like to do bonfires in the backyard with smores. There are LOTS OF MOSQUITOS and this helps keep them away so we can enhoy outside witout getting bit.

These are described as “scented, aromatherapy” candles, but they give off no fragrance at all. Very misleading and very disappointing.

Little bit smaller than I anticipated. Coffee mug for reference. Scent is a bit on the strong side for my liking. Literally sitting between both lit candles and got five mosquito bites already, so unfortunately, can’t say I’m too impressed...

I would not recommend this candle. The scent is not strong. However, the candle will not stay lit long enough to even begin melting the way. The flame continues to go out even after relighting it multiple times.

Nicely presented, good smell, great overall quality. I got the brown jars with the gold lids. They are very small, the same size of a jar of baby food, so won’t last long. Better for small or rarely used spaces.

My room has a door for the back yard and it is always trying to be invaded with mosquitoes but these do the trick. They don’t smell too strong either which is a plus most other citronella candles give me headaches.

These candles work as far as keeping bugs away. I have been very pleased with that. However they do not burn evenly and lots of the wax is remaining unburned towards the sides of the candles. I have them on even surfaces and have tired turning them, and leave them on for all of the wax to melt and still have the problem. I don't think I will purchase them again.

Love them! Beat little candles ever! Fragrance is not overpowering at all. They would be a great item to put in a gift basket. I use them on the patio and with the brown glass jar it gives off a soft glow!
