... "holster" because I thought maybe it would make a good pocket holster
So I originally got this "holster" because I thought maybe it would make a good pocket holster, though I have never seen it used that way. You see, I sometimes pocket carry a G23 (yeah, pocket carry a G23) and normally I was doing that without a holster because, well, they don't make pocket holsters for the G23. Originally I thought it would be safe enough because I make sure not to put anything else in that pocket and the pocket itslef acts as a holster protecting the trigger... buuuuuut then I started to have second thoughts about it's safety. I already knew about the MIC and I though "hmmmm, I wonder if I could wrap the cord around my belt like they do but then rather than stick the gun into the waist of my pants, stick it in my pocket. It would otherwise work the same way. But you know what happened? Ever since I got the MIC I have been back to carrying in my waistband! Not only is this holster awesome, it is the single most comfortable and concealable way to carry a handgun BY FAR!. I have regular holsters, crossbreed styles and this is by far the best. Now it isn't the most stable, the gun can drop some (but not fall), it can shift forward and backward to a small degree (but not much) depending on how tight you wear your belt but for shear comfort and concealability this thing cannot be beat! I had some reservations about carrying in such a minimalist way but I was wrong! I thought having the metal gun right up against my body with no leather in between would be uncomfortable but I was wrong. And what's more, the thing is EASILY the most versatile holster. It's lightweight, very very portable in even the most minimal load outs, it fits in a pocket easily, it can be used as a holster for a bag, purse, car, bed, IWB, pocket, you name it. I need to buy myself 2 more now...

Exactly what I needed, but may not be for you
First you have to go to the Glock Tech site and watch the videos. They really tell you near everything you need to know and they're quite entertaining too.PROS:* Ultra lightweight!!! Only 16g. About 16 paper clips.* No bulk as advertised* Tight retention - !UNLOADED OF COURSE! You can dangle and lightly bounce your Glock from the retaining cord and it won't pop out.* The material is extremely thin but also very hardy. Kydex is some tough stuff!* You're less likely to shoot yourself in the leg or foot because of the cord length. CON below!* Fits my G19gen4 and G23 (gen3)CONS:* No protection from sweat.* The quick jerk can cause you to fumble* The quick jerk could cause you to shoot your buddy if you're sloppy. I strongly advise a lot of practice with focus on trigger control before using a live weapon.* The cord is sturdy but obviously the weak point. Inspect frequently.* Takes some time if you want to do a silent draw. A quick draw makes a fairly loud popping sound and isn't stealthy at all.* Wear a sturdy belt. It takes a little finesse and force to quick draw.* REALLY pricy for what you get. This is probably 50 cents in molded Kydex and 18 inches of nylon cord. Why this is perfect for me and 5 stars? I carry my G19 in an REI belt pouch when backpacking. I'm always nervous I'm going to accidentally snag or pull the trigger trying to draw because it's hard to control my weapon in the pouch. I wanted an ultra lightweight holster to cover the trigger and provide a little control. This is even better!Better because the cord allows me to draw from the pouch - THEN disengage the MIC. My weapon is clear and in my control before the trigger is exposed. Note fumble comment above however. In short, watch the videos and think hard about how you want to use a MIC. I guarantee it's one of the lightest, least bulky, concealed carry option you will find, but there are trade offs to make.

Really like how it covers the trigger, not too happy with how gun sits in pants
As the title states, this MIC holster covers the trigger area excellent. However once you put the pistol in your pants it doesn't stay put as well as I would like; or have gotten used to from my other holsters. The string on the holster serves two purposes, 1. Act as an anchor to pull off the holster when you draw it (attach string to belt & belt loop. 2. To stop the pistol from falling down too far in your pants. Well it does stop the gun for falling too far but it also allows the gun to shift left or right, especially if you place the gun lower in your pant for deeper concealment. I'm speaking here of when you wear the gun in your belly region. I prefer to carry it in the small of my back on the right side. The gun doesn't shift too much there, but it can be tricky when pulling the pistol out. The holster tends to stay in the pant when I wear it in the back, maybe because of the tightness of the waist band (and that's fine, it works good that way) but if the holster comes out of the pant when worn in the back as it is supposed to, it can be a little tricky to lift your arm high enough so the anchor string pops off the trigger guard. (yes, I have tried adjusting the string)It also isn't the most convenient to put on or take off such as when you go to work, or other place where you are actually going to follow their rule of no Guns Allowed. Remember you have to loop the holster through the string on to your belt and belt loop. Granted you could leave the holster on and just pull the gun out, but I doubt you'll do that at work and sit with a piece of plastic in your pants all day.All in all I like the holster, there is no bulk to it, just a few irritations with it staying in place. I don't really have a problem with this holster, I just pointed out some things that I came across using the holster which I'm sure some others may also notice.
