No they don't suction a bunch, use a separate pipette or just make a few extra dips but they are sturdy. I've had them for years and none of the components of any of the bottles have yet to break down.I use to store various oils, fragrances and samples of friends stuff (tee hee hee) the delicate clear glass from all 12 droppers has held up, the rubber suction gasket has held up, the amber on the bottles isn't fake it Is the bottle and hasn't (can't) fade. the lips and bottoms haven't cracked off or chipped and all remained intact. A lot of times when people are satisfied with a boring product like this they won't take the time to leave reviews if it works like its supposed to. Me included, its been a few years, but yeah, they worked like they were supposed to and still are.

I purchased these for precious metal refining acid testers and related uses. I needed something that was basically the light filtering like dark amber tint of a beer bottle that also has a glass dropper. I received these the other day undamaged and very clean and the bottles were exactly what I wanted. The box contained bottles that were in a sealed plastic wrapped deep cardboard tray and the the droppers were loose in a smaller sealed plastic bag that tucked neatly up against the bottles. That evening in a plastic I made some Stannous Chloride ( Hydrochloric Acid and Tin Metal) as a tester for gold and some Ammonium Chloride solution to test for Platinum. I had zero problems containing these mixtures in these bottles and the droppers when used correctly. For those having issues FILLING the dropper tube you need to realize that the maximum fluid has nothing to do the the tube length. The fluid draw volume is determined by nipple size. The the air volume you push out when squeezing the nipple is replace by the same volume of fluid by design these bottles will one draw and fill about 50% give or take based on how much of the nipple you compress.. 50% draw has been a standard with the different tinted bottles I've used. I believe that is so fluid doesn't get up into the nipple and start breaking down the silicon, which is what almost every known oil or oil based fluid would do. Also, even if you are able to fill more than half the tube because of a trapped air bubble, you will have a hard time getting all that fluid out for the same reason it's hard to draw more than half the . I would give an accurate measure of the average fluid draw but my dogs tail is too quick and she turned my little graduated cylinder back into silica sand.For those complaining that the glass tube is too short... Lean the bottle until you can draw what you can't reach because the bottle is vertical if the bottles fluid level gets low.Cons: The only cons I have is that these bottles don't come with a funnel, cleaning brush or labels which would have been nice but for the price and quality you get I can't complain.Also, when I received the package the side panel of the box was open because it wasn't glued shut properly as it was designed to be. For this reason I believe the droppers should probably be individually wrapped and the bag should be either taped in or secured inside the box somehow. I didn't deduct anything because nothing was damaged inside but... this bottle set came in the same amazon plastic envelope as a chemical compound that could have easily been punctured if the droppers were broken in transit. It's just might be something for the seller to look into.

Good product. There were some that were broken but if you could tact the seller they are very helpful. Hood value for money if you are mixing oils. These are best with oils but can be used for other remedies such as Bach also.
