Spec-D Tuning Black Headlights W/Yellow Fog Lamp Switch Kit for 1996-1998 Honda Civic 2/3/4Dr Left + Right Pair

Bought for my 98 Honda Civic EX.The products came well packaged, the lights themselves were all in one piece. I was pleasantly surprised at the fog light quality. Thick glass, and all metal housing.The Fogs:Install was a bit of a hassle. If you wanted to follow directions... good luck. They are missing a few steps, luckily this not being my first set of fog lights installed, we figured it out. The brackets to hang the lights have nuts welded on, do yourself a favor and break those off, they aren't centered and you will struggle more than its worth before doing it anyways. When screwing in the fogs to the brackets, again, everything is ever so slightly off, be prepared to slightly rearrange some tabs and use a little elbow grease. After wiring the fogs,(which could be a pain, as you have to wire into your steering column ACC ... which I didn't do, instead went right to the fuse box), the light was on on the switch but the lights weren't working! After a bit of time cursing tracing back all the wiring, checking grounds, discovered the switch had a bent metal connector piece, luckily was able to maneuver it out of a bent position to a working position. Now, they work! They look great, and hopefully will survive through PA weather (and hunting season).The Headlights:Install was extremely easy... took longer to take the old ones out then put the new ones in! Really well made, and look really awesome on the car. My only con is the light spread it throws off. If I didn't know better it would look like the housing were cracked or filled with crinkled tin foil. It distorts the lights, not sure if that is due to the 5k HIDs, but for some it may be nuisance. Going to do some adjustments to the bulbs again tonight, as it reflects light pretty high into the trees (even though the main beam is down), and may buy eyelids to help from blinding traffic. Will be testing on main roads tonight. Would hate to have to uninstall them.

Item arrived very quickly and were well packaged. Headlights fit without any issues and were of good fit and finish.The fog lights are very impressive, made out of heavy cast glass and aluminum however I had problems with them being water tight. I highly suggest you tighten all bolts around where the fog light glass meets the case as mine were loose, I also had a bad wire inside one of the footlights which I had to,re solder.The switch for the fog lights doesn't illuminate or fit very well and the instructions for wiring weren't great. I was able to plug the switch harness into the fuse panel on the top left of the fuse box under the dash into an empty slot on my 98 civic hx without having to open the steering column to tap the ignition wireSo basically the fog lights were crap because I didn't double check them before I installed them. Installation was easy and all of the brackets fit correctly, just be sure you are using the correct bracket for the drivers side and passengers side.I contacted spec-d tuning about my issues and they never returned my email. However all of the installations are shown on YouTube, but like I said use the fuse panel inside the car above the steering column, don't tap the ignition signal inside the steering column like shown in the video and instructions

The clear coat on the headlights started chipping and they're totally yellow, even with regular care and use of headlight protectant. The foglights work beautifully.
