6 oz Modern Masters ME204 Antique Bronze Metallic Paint Collection, Satin Water-Based Decorative Metallic Paint

I did some sampling and mixing to match some handles. Copper Penny was true to the name. Antique Bronze was brown-ish and listed as semi-opaque. Mix of both got me the right shade of darker copper. Picture shows 2 coats on white paper. Dried very quickly. Both shades had a good shimmer.

Make sure you read the label on these. Be prepared to apply multiple coats if you want full coverage! I didn't realize they were semi-opaque. Other than that, these are great paints! A little goes a long way even though I had to apply multiple coats. I got the nickel and copper colors for a ceiling medallion. Would buy again!

I ordered the antique bronze, which is a lovely orangey color that looks LOVELY. But it is SO STREAKY. I painted this IKEA bookshelf in 2 coats of primer, then it took another 2.5 coats of this bronze paint to get full, non streaky coverage, and days later I am still touching up and adding 3rd layers to cover the primer. So disappointing, bc this color is beautiful. I've used it on all kinds of things around my home (because I get paintbrush happy), I even mixed it with gold paint from another brand to get a brighter bronze, which turned out beautifully. For most crafty projects (like a bookshelf), a 32oz container is twice as much as you need, but with this stuff, its so streaky that you have to factor in 2 - 3 coats. The color options are gorgeous and the metallic sheen is very realistic unless you look closely and see the number of coats piled on top of eachother. Such a shame.

I bought an antique bronze bristo set. I have a wrought iron cross. I took this paint on certain ares of the cross to make it match the Bristo ro set.

I use the pen wouldn’t chair and it looks great. They have so many gorgeous colors and they are all good. I couldn’t recommend this more.

I stirred this paint up really well before attempting to use it, but was disappointed at how thin it is. I’m only trying to paint over a metal frame, but I believe I’ll have to do at least 3 coats.

Very nice shade. Will use for many paintings and projects.
