it workie real good
This thing is built tough. I doubt you will ever need to replace it unless you break it using it for something other than it was intended for. The pins are welded in, I like that and the nut is a "nyloc" nut so you can tighten or loosen it how you prefer, and the adjustable arm doesn't swing around limp noodle unless you want it to and will stay in position when you want it to. I don't feel like making a video

Just basic
Worked for what I needed it for, but would be a fantastic tool if it had an option for additional holding pin selections rather than just the ones welded in. I bring this up because the pins on it just barely fit the opening I was using it for......someone else may not get that lucky.

Great Product!
Worked as it should on my 2005 VW passat 1.8t exhaust camshaft pulley! Just have to make sure you have center bolt tightened with 5 mm hex and 13 mm socket. Very sturdy!

Heavy duty
Tool didnt work for me the pegs were too large to fit the pulley. If you have a 2012 VW Jetta GLI Autobahn or any VW and/or Audi with the 2.0L Turbocharged DOHC I-4 TDI Engine then this tool will not work on any pulley you have. If you can use it then buy one it would be a great tool to add to the arsenal at a reasonable price. Here's what I know for sure its is built HEAVY DUTY with 3/8" thick steel and welded pegs rather than the traditional screw on ones which has its pluses and minuses. Im also going to add the overall measurements at the end to help other people figure out if they can use it. That being said if you bend or break it you were 100% using it wrong. What I mean is Im guessing most likely you bend it at the arm that moves or the pegs. Most likely because rather than keeping the tool parallel with the pulley you started to move left or right causing the kinectic energy, or least part of it to be on the tool and not holding back the pulley if that makes sense. In my opinion if you bent or broke the tool its unfair to give a lesser rating and review because you want to save face, its the poor craftsman who blames his tools. Hope you all can understand it and get some useful info out of it. Made the job much easier
Using this on a dual overhead cam, 2.4, it worked flawlessly. After reinstalling the gears and torquing then down, I had to remove them a second time and this tool still worked great. In the photos I measured the thickness of the handles and they are significant, .420mm, these won't bend and thankfully the welds on the pins that others complained about, they held up just fine for my application. I'm glad I bought this, it made the job so much easier, which I always say, "the job is easier with the correct tools".

spread tool as wide as possible
Worked to take gear off, but bent when torquing TTY bolt on a 3.8 series II engine, 74lb pounds calibrated +90 tool bent, would not lock into gear hole, with balance shaft gear Suggest spreading tool as wide as possible. Tool should be welded on top too. my welder said, he would have made it differently
