Nordic Ware Fleur De Lis Bundt Pan

Beautifully crafted well-made pan. That's my honest humble opinion. We don't have 1 product from Nordic that I would say anything derogatory or negative about. The pans are truly pieces of art & very durable. So far, & I do emphasize 'so far', the cakes that have been made have come out perfectly. I do mean cleanly released without any sticking incidences occurring. I attribute the perfect results to the pan, the 'proper' preparation of the pan which is so critical to the cakes outcome, and the recipe. The cakes have been absolutely gorgeous & cooked to perfection. The neighbors & I have been wowed by the intricate details of the cakes. I will admit that before I turn over the pan to release the cake that I say a small prayer because we all know what disappointment feels like. Such a let down when right at the finish line you have your thunder stolen and the cake is stuck. How many times have you been there done that? Just ruins what was turning out to be a lovely day. Is there a sure fired secret? I would say vigilance & repeating what works & don't deviate from it once you hit the nail on the head. Perfection is all about repetition & remaining consistent. Tweaking the recipe no matter how good your intentions are might, emphasis on 'might', yield undesirable results. Yet what adventure would it be if you didn't try to push the envelope a time or two. I've been fortune enough to have very satisfactory results using Nordic Ware's products that make me look good as a cook & I thank them for turning out top shelf quality products. I'm sure that the pans I currently have will last my lifetime & beyond it if they are properly cared for.

This is my first bundt pan and I was successful the very first time I used it! It’s so sturdy and thicker than I expected. It baked my cake evenly and with the magic cake release recipe, my cake fell right out of the pan like it was supposed to do with a nice, shiny and slightly crispy crust. Finished it up with some white glaze and it’s amazing! This was a great deal for such a beautiful pan and I expect it will get a lot of usage, especially during the holidays :-)

I am new to bundt making so I am learning as I go. This pan makes a beautiful cake that can be accented with just a dusting of powdered sugar or cocoa. I use Baker's Joy to spray the pan then turn it upside down on a paper towel to drain any excess. The cakes release easily after cooling 10 min. After cooling I even off the bottom with a serrated knife so that it sits flat on the plate. Clean up is a cinch with soap and water and I use a vegetable brush to clean the nooks & crannies. I would never put any of my Nordic Ware in the dishwasher. Just made a fabulous "Banana Chocolate Chip Breakfast Cake" from the new Nordic Ware book, "best of the Bundt". Definitely a winner!I haven't baked in years but with all the different Nordic pans and the abundance of bundt recipes using healthy ingredients like pumpkin, carrots, zucchini, bananas, etc. I am excited to get baking again. My family is loving it too!

I treated myself to this fleur de lis pan, and I have been delighted by it! It turns out the most beautiful cakes I have ever seen. This weekend, I made a coconut bundt cake in this pan; the recipe specifically said NOT to use a bundt pan because the cake was too delicate. I have used this bundt pan multiple times for different bundt cake recipes, and have ALWAYS had this same result. Not a crumb left behind. It is truly unbelievable.The cake came out of the pan without so much as a crumb left behind. This is a superior bundt pan and my Amazon cart is now full of its Nordic Ware bundt pan siblings. I don't think I could ever use another kind of bundt pan with this level of confidence. What I do know is that I'm completely unwilling to try any other brand of bundt pan after having such incredible results with this one.

This is an awesome pan. First: it's heavy. The material is sturdy and I don't see anything happening to it anytime soon. The design is pretty but still simple, which I prefer. Plus, it makes cleaning a little easier than if it had so many grooves. I use a 'magic cake release' mix (equal parts vegetable oil, all purpose flour, and vegetable shortening) to grease the pan before pouring in the batter and I have no issues with getting the bundt care out. However, there are the occasional crumbs that may get stuck in the crannies, which requires a little additional time to properly wash.All that aside, my only real issue is that it isn't bigger. It's smaller than my previous bundt cake pan (traditional design), which I believe had a 12-cup capacity but whose quality wasn't as good. All in all, I still love my new addition. I just wish they made this same design in a bigger size!

This Fleur De Lis Bundt Pan is heavy and sturdy. I love nordic wear for this reason. The Fleur De Lis Bundt Pan is such a pretty pattern. It is my favorite pan. I find the detailing is intricate enough that my butter and flour settles into the nooks and crannies and can create I attractive caked on appearance on top of cake when done. To minimize this, I tap pan top on counter top to settle the floour inside it, then hold over sink open side down and tap sides to knock excess flour out. The floured nonstick spray work better but can still settle into the narrow valleys in this pan. I also find I have to cook my cakes 5-8 minutes longer than other pans I've used. But, overall, this is such a pretty pan, and I love that its cooks evenly and is heavy enough to last years! Highly recommended.

I used it first time today. I am very impressed by how well the cake came out. I overbaked it though and it came out a little drier than I wanted just because I forgot that in bundt pan it warms more evenly and cooks faster. Anyway, I know now. I greased evenly and cake easily came out and the pan was almost clean. I am concerned about durability as I saw some seemingly linear indentation line inside of the pan. I would definitely recommend it. The cake came out very beautiful.
