My children love it
Like the normal cluedo game but based around Charlie and the chocolate factory. I have a 5 and a 7 year old and they absolutely love this game. My 5 year old needs help with the reading which is fine. I'm not sure it would suit all 5 year olds though as they need to understand deduction skills though. Perfect for 7+ I would say

Death by chocolate...or not
I bought this for my husband, as he loves Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We particularly liked the Quentin Blake illustrations too.

Great take on a classic game
Well designed and made board and pieces. Would recomend for a more relatable take on the classic cluedo game.

Sweet twist on the classic game.
Fun version of the classic game that Charlie fans will love. The original weapons are now sweets and you have to guess which child has stolen a secret recipe. However, room names are printed too small so difficult to see where you have moved to. The little cardboard children "playing pieces" colours do not link with their names like the classic game so makes it harder to work out which piece you want. Guess these concerns will resolve once played with more. It is over priced.

Very popular with family
Bit pricey but this is hugely popular in our house and has had lots of use. We play as family with our 5 and 8 year olds usually teamed up. They like the sweet models and regularly use this game so in that sense is worth the cost. Would recommend

Good Idea, poor quality product. Disappointed.
The media could not be loaded. This game is an excellent concept, but is let down by the cheap way it's been produced. In most games the counters are the pieces touched and moved by players the most. Why then have they chosen counter materials for this game that don't fix together and fall apart at the slightest touch?I bought this for my son's birthday. He has ADHD, so can be hiper- focused and play really well. However, if there is something defective, in this case faulty counter assemblies, it only serves as a distraction and mitigates any enjoyment of playing as such simple defects only serve to fuel frustrations.I have solved the problem by gluing the faulty pieces, but that's not the point. A product linked to big names like Roald Dahl and Cluedo should not contain such defects especially for £30+Sort out your quality control or expect more reviews like this.Disappointed.
