This is a standard pedal, no question. Amazing creamy texture, great harmonics and very versatile. Every guitar player should have this pedal. I love the mini version!

This is not a bad thing I guess depending on your situation. I'll trade for a big one! Identical sound as my friend's full sized ones. So lightweight that your patch cords will lift it off the pedalboard, buy some velcro to go with.

This pedal is cool. Sounds best to me when used with Strat style guitar through an amp at very high volume for pushing the tubes. Not good for very high gain chugging at low volume. Friend of mine used one of these to play metal through JCM stacks dialed up to 10. It was searingly, deafeningly beautiful with that application- pushing the amp tubes. This pedal is highly interactive with the amp's volume and not simply a high gain box of instant distortion. Reduces bass and highs while pushing mids. Nice, classic OD. I personally only enjoy the sound of this with my Strat copy. I have Tele, SG, and other guitars, but I don't really like it with those.

This thing has been around a long time and a lot of players have used it. You can get some really nice smooth overdriven tones with it. I haven't tried it for "metal" type tones yet but it would probably work well for that, too.

Solid pedal.

I had a TS9 in the last millennium but haven’t played with one in decades. I got this TS mini and it is indistinguishable from its larger sized version. This thing is timeless and should be required equipment on every pedalboard.
