Great product
I love this product! I started taking psyllium to increase my fiber intake. I mix a teaspoon in 12oz of tea and after 5 minutes the texture is like very soft jelly. So, it's like drinking a tea jello. I look forward to drinking this every day. I also feel like it helps with digestion.

A Tasty Fiber Option!
This is a great product! I've just begun using it and my stomach feels so good! While I applaud those brave souls who can drink this down simply mixed in liquid, I have trouble doing that. Perhaps as I get more used to the whole husks, it won't bother me as much. What I love doing is mixing it with yogurt in the morning. It is fantastic! It adds a nice thickness and a bit of lovely texture to the yogurt. It blends well and doesn't turn into a scary gelatinous mess which can happen if it is allowed to sit too long in plain liquid. The perfect consistency for me is to put two teaspoons of the psyllium in every 1/4 cup of plain yogurt. I don't eat the very thick Greek style yogurt and so don't know if adding the psyllium would make a mess of it, but I'm sure it can be properly proportioned with a bit of experimentation, particularly if you add frozen fruit and other things that render additional liquid. I would just start with small amounts and observe what happens! I'm still figuring out its uses and will try adding it to oatmeal as well. A lot of people also include it in low-carb baking, soups, and puddings, which is interesting. It really does keep you feeling full and helps with regularity. I think it also adds nice variety. I already use flax seeds, glucommanan powder, and other konjac root products just about every day, and having another tasty, fiber option is great!

Let me just say that having flavor and presentation as rating values for fiber is just priceless :) Considering what this stuff is, and what its for, there's no room here for yumminess or umami or what have you. This is biological Drano and its mmm mmm healthy! Seriously though, this stuff is the real deal. The big brands will use psyllium but add softeners and bleach it to make it more soluble or pleasant or what have you. Be a big adult-person and just handle it, huh? This stuff does not dissolve in anything milder than hydrofluoric acid (I see you Breaking Bad fans there!) but honestly that is not a big deal. Stir, agitate, spin and then consume. Gulp it all down before it settles. You'll still have to deal with the beach-sand dregs at the bottom of the glass. I found something carbonated works wonderfully at helping hold this stuff in suspension for the extra minute you need to chug it. Efficacy. That is why you are drinking this. This stuff works. You are processing some raw vegetable fiber and your body will thank you after all those pounds of processed foods you shovel in, honest to God. This stuff works and there's no bloat or gas or what have you, in my experience. I am about eight months plus and three tubs in at this point, and it works like a charm. Just fiddle with your dosage until you are content with... the results. Everyone's plumbing is different, don't blame the psylluim at first!

Excellent Product in the "Whole Husk" formulation only.
This is a wonderful product that I have used for several years. NOTE: This is Yerba WHOLE HUSK, not Yerba powder which does not go into solution easily and does not function well. I use 2 tablespoons of the husk before going to bed. It helps to mix in slightly warm tap water for swallowing and for aiding it to go into solution better. I was so unhappy with the powder (that I accidentally ordered) that I tossed it into my garden compost bin. Buy the whole husk only!
