🎧 Elevate your sound space—because your audio deserves the spotlight!
The Auralex 2-inch Studiofoam Pyramids are 2'x2' acoustic panels designed to absorb and diffuse sound waves effectively. Their pyramid shape and charcoal finish make them ideal for professional studios and creative environments seeking to reduce echo and improve sound clarity.

Professional grade.
Can't go wrong with Auralex. They are expensive but you get what you pay for. For starters they come in an actual box and not vacuum sealed or folded like other cheaper ones. The sound absorption is supreme, they look super nice and the overall quality is amazing. If you're seriously into sound treatment this is the way to go.

Bought some to treat a rehearsal room that was rectangular ...
Bought some to treat a rehearsal room that was rectangular and completely untreated. It cut down the audible flutter echo considerably, and I believe makes bright Fender amps, for example, probably a little less fatiguing in a loud space. To some of the other reviewers, this isn't a sound proofing product. Even if you covered every square inch of wall and ceiling and door and door crack with this stuff, you'd still have lots of issues with incoming and outgoing sound- to control that you really need to construct or modify the spaces themselves.

This stuff is great and easy to put up
This stuff is great and easy to put up, comes with instructions for both permanent and temporary installation. Since I rent, I can't paint the all white walls, so this gives a great contrast!! I live in an apartment with a shared living room wall, and I can no longer hear my neighbors tv, phone conversations, or even when he sneezes! (his sneezing was bad during allergy season and got very annoying.) Now i can play video games and yell in victory or rage in defeat, with no worry of a noise complaint. 5 stars!

Not cloned garbage
These are the real things, not one of the 8 million clone listings on Amazon. I didn't buy as many and I should for my application since they are pricey. However, I was playing music while installing them and towards the end of the install I noticed the music had gotten turned down a bit. I looked into it and turns out that wasn't the case. It's hard to quantify "I feel like they work" however on video they cut down echo a decent bit even without full coverage.

Good Dampening
Do an overall great job, will not dampen sound entirely though! They dampen sound well, but if you have thin walls you'll still be able to hear it through them. In addition I liked the color choices, I mixed between the charcoal and burgundy and got a really cool studio look when it was finished!

Quality is lacking
This foam looks great, but It rips super easy, it doesn't respond well to being glued or nailed to surfaces, even with Super 77 3M adhesive. It is extremely porous, too much to make much of a difference. Perhaps first spray gluing it to cardboard, then hanging the cardboard panels might have been a better idea? In short, don't waste your money.

I can say they definitely don't cancel out sound like I thought they would
After treating my small studio with these, I can say they definitely don't cancel out sound like I thought they would. Yes, there is some dampening of sound, but it in no way sounds like a professionally sound-treated studio. If I had to do it over again, I think I'd just build my own panels with insulation and fabric.
