Easy Plug & Play Light Effects + DMX
The media could not be loaded. This (40’’ 96W 24LED) light bar is very good. It's got a sturdy build and provides a bright wash of color to a wall or behind a DJ facade. It has DMX, master slave mode or you can just plug it in and use it on sound active (as shown in video) You can choose from a selection of speed variations. It comes with two end brackets that allow you to tilt and mount the bar. I usually just set it on the floor and angle it to whichever direction is needed. I've used this light several times and it's just really easy to transport and easy to use. This is a no-fuss light! I already anticipate using this for next year's Halloween display and will probably purchase a second one because the price is a good value. I've bought 7 or 8 products from this company over the years and they are all still working perfectly. My son wanted to "borrow" it for a party at his fraternity. Nope!

More than just a wash light. Could replace your entire light bar.
The media could not be loaded. While waiting for my product, the LaluceNatz 40” 96W 24LEDs Stage Lights RGBA” to arrive, I developed a series of questions that I wanted answered. Size, construction, appearance, brightness, and could this thing be a fire hazard? The size question went out the window when the item arrived, this is some serious lighting. Roughly measured 2.5 X 2.5 X 39.5 inches, this thing is big. If a concern for wash lighting is that it only illuminates a small area this coverage area is huge. Another concern were the mounts. I had seen where other manufactures of similar items had used plastic that many times didn’t even make it through shipping. LaluceNatz uses all metal, easy to attach and to adjust. There is a minor issue if you attempt to rotate the unit at an angle where an end screw causes the mounting bracket to not set flush. I worry that it may cause the bracket to bend if you have to tighten it too much. My unit also appears to have a slight manufacturing defect. It would appear to me that the LED faceplate is a little too long and does not fit into the body of the unit properly. I could forcibly push in one side only to have it pop out on the other. While it has no effect on the units operation the fact that the lens on the LED has a depressed center section makes me wonder if it would become a dust collector if this unit was ever installed for an extended period of time. Other than that the unit is beautiful and well made.Intelligent design of the item puts the controls at 90 degrees to the LED face, allows the user to adjust settings without having to pick the item up repeatedly. They are clearly labeled and the orientation is correct. “You don’t have to stand on your head to read them.” Having a power out allows you to daisy chain up to 10 units as well as having a fuse to protect itself. The fuse also helps with my hazard question but more to the point. Many times you will not use mounting brackets for wash lights; you need to get in and out of a venue as fast as you can so you just throw them on the floor in front of a wall. My primary concern was what would happen IF, you put this unit on some low pile carpet and blocked a fan that was intended to cool the unit, especially since this thing is cranking out 96 watts of power, while LED’s themselves generally run cool to the touch the electronics that converts and controls the electricity can get warm, if not hot. I was pleased to find that the overall metal construction acted as a heat sink and no fan was needed at all. I set the unit to static color 15 and let it run for several hours, it was using from between 82 to 84 watts of power. It increased in temperature from the ambient of 76.5 to 135 at the center of the unit. The center of the unit had the highest temperature reading while the ends fell from 10 to 20. I did notice that once I disconnected it and reconnected it in the area that I was going to do the DMX testing that it would only flash and had to cool down to below 100 before it became operational again. Further testing with illumination not as bright or on constantly ran at much cooler temps. For DMX testing, I am using a software platform called Lumidesk and a SUSHI-DS controller. Overall I found that using 9 channels worked the best for me but each setup presents new and unique differences. For example using 58 channels a person could control the LED’s in groups of three, the entire bar could have a completely different setup with some being sound active others strobing others static in color. The possibilities seem endless. With the versatility and brightest of the unit it could very easily replace par or can lights in a lighting setup. Having two units mounted vertically on each side of the DJ booth could look awesome. I had multiple videos of the different configurations but was only allowed to upload one.

Terrific, professional-quality light!
Have now been using this light for my band in party, club, and theatre settings. It is bright, flexible and very easy to use. The colors are vivid and clear, and the effects are very usable and easy to access. We own many different lights and this is one of the most effective - more usable than our more expensive brand lights. This is an exceptional value for bands, and I imagine other uses.

Not for video or theater!
I purchased this to wash a small scrim for a theatrical production. The light is very concentrated even when moved back from the scrim. It does not wash the screen evenly and even at a distance, you can make out individual leds on the scrim. DMX operation is ok and fades look good but video recording revealed flashing when fading. Although not noticeable to the naked eye this may be an issue for those using this in video and I could not find a way to adjust the PWM.
