As you can see from the photo it's very similar to the Grimm's one (which is the bottom one in the photo) but not quite, the smaller pieces don't have the same height to them. This means that some of the more complex balancing examples you find online like the one where they all collapse back to the original rainbow are harder/impossible. For half the price of the original it's good though.The yellow piece was also broken on delivery (even though it's still in the packet in the photo you can just about see the break about a quarter of the way along the piece) but this was quickly sorted.

If you're looking to buy this item because you want the Grimms rainbow but think it's too expensive, do not hesitate to purchase this rainbow instead. This rainbow has been a great asset to our open ended toys and has been used in so many ways by my daughter, who has been using it since she was 2 years old. We've had it for about a year and a half and the rainbow is still going strong and has kept its vibrant colour and stacks really nicely

Product and quality looks good. Delivery was quicker than expected but box was damaged on arrival; luckily despite the poor way the product was packaged the product was fine. Can't wait to hand over this toy over to our 1 year old granddaughter and looking forward to seeing the fun she has with it.

Beautiful wooden rainbow. My kids haven’t played with it yet as it’s for Christmas but I am sure they will love it
