This product DOES work! *First-time iPhone repairer*
I purchased this LCD screen and digitizer combo after my wife went using her cracked iphone 5c for over a month. Most places wanted to charge $75-$125 to replace her screen. I'm fairly technical myself, so I decided to do the repair myself. This was the first time I have ever replaced an iPhone screen/digitizer. Since I had the phone opened, I also decided to replace her battery with a new one, since she has had the phone for about 2 years.I must say, this process is very delicate and it requires a lot of patience. I watched 2 YouTube videos on how to carry out the process and they were pretty straightforward. The main advice I can give is to use the plastic tools that come with this kit, and also be gentle when transferring parts from the old component to the new component. There are lots of tiny screws and it is extremely easy to lose them if you are not careful. I decided to replace the battery and that process is very difficult because the battery is held into place with very strong double sided tape. Once you have the battery loose from the tape, all you have to do it disconnect one wire and the battery will come out. When connecting the 3 ribbon cables to the mainboard, be sure you feel a gentle snap. If you do not hear or feel this gentle snap, then 9 times out of 10, you do not have the cable connected properly and you may not get proper functionality. I got lucky on my first try. Once everything is connected and you start testing things, you may notice the screen will be responsive and then non-responsive at random times. Give the digitizer about 30mins to an hour to settle and then you should have complete responsiveness from the touchscreen. This product DOES work, so don't be thrown off by the negative reviews. This was my first time ever performing this procedure and I was successful on my first try. Myself nor my wife could tell the difference between this product and the original Apple component. The colors look great and the screen/digitizer both perform as they should. If my wife ever has another accident with her phone screen, I will definitely be purchasing this product again and doing the repair myself.Just remember to take your time and watch a couple of YouTube videos and you should be just fine. Shipping also came next-day with Amazon Prime!

First night in and working perfectly!
*Long overdue update* screen still works but is super glitchy and slow. And if you press down slightly you can see color stripes down it.Ordered this about 5 days ago got it in tonight installed in phone using a video on YouTube as a reference, everything went perfectly I had a little trouble getting the first strip fastened down but it finally popped in there. So far it's working good. Fixed it for my 7 y/o, there was a few times she would try to put her pass code in and it would say she's holding the 0 down but everytime I would do it it worked fine so I'm thinking she just had another finger on the screen at the same time causing it to do that. I'll update if I have any real issues with it but I really don't see anything happening.

Discoloration issue and low durability
Arrived pretty fast (on weekend) nicely packed with tools. Received separate email from the seller with a link to the how-to-install video and personalized customer care message to contact for any issues. That is where all the good things end. I have changed iPhone 5C screens 3 times prior to this. But I have been fed up with the quality of the screens in terms of durability and this one was no exception. It took me 20-30 minutes to change the screen. I had two big problems listed below:1. Worked pretty well after install, the feel of the screen on finger tip is nice. But there was discoloration on the top edge clearly visible and is distracting when looking at the screen. Definitely not a sign of good quality product.2. I wish the screen was a little more durable. As soon as I installed and removed the protective cover I noticed a small/faint crack on the top right. I did not look for it before the install but I suspect it may have happened during the last step of install while gently pressing the screen down to fit into the iPhone body. I have changed the 5C screens before and am gentle during the install, so I don't expect the screen to give way without careless use. This was one of the more expensive 5c screens that I had order but lasted the shortest.Update 1:Just 1 day of normal (read, protected) use I see another crack on the top left. I wasn't expecting this to be a super reliable screen given my experience with previous screens but giving way after just one day is pretty shoddy workmanship/material.

An affordable repair option
Overall, this product worked well to repair my old iPhone 5C. However, I do have two issues. The first was that I received no instructions with this kit. That wasn't a huge deal for me, as I found an excellent video on YouTube, showing each step of the process. However, the main concern I have is that the touch screen on this is not fully functional. The edges of the touch screen do not work. It does not impact the keyboard or functionality of the phone. I do not use the phone on a daily basis; I primarily use it as an iPod more than an iPhone because I have since upgraded to a newer phone. I still give this 4 stars, because I didn't pay a lot for the repair, and because I'm sure it's possible that the issue is a result of me repairing the phone instead of paying a professional. I did use the phone as a phone for about 2 weeks, and had no issues.I would add that this repair takes A LOT of patience and a somewhat steady hand. I would advise that you have someone assist you with an extra set of hands during this repair, unless you are familiar with repairing electronics with small parts. With that being said, I had never taken apart an iPhone (or any phone), and still completed the repair with relative ease. But it took longer than I anticipated.
