I really like this Ringside Maize Slip Ball. It's really well built but it's very hard, and if you get clocked in the nose with it, you're gonna really feel it. The chain was too noisy and limited it's movement, so I took the chain off and used a thick rope instead, and it swings much better now.

Does exactly what you expect it to do. It came assembled. The filler makes it not too hard if you do get bumped in the head when you practice slipping. Just need a string to hang it from the garage door tracks and you are ready to go practicing slipping.

I absolutely love this slip/maize bag! I have another slip/maize bag from a different company that is just as good only it weighs less. This Ringside bag has a lot of weight to it and the chain attachment is of decent quality as well. The only issue you may encounter is if you have a higher ceiling, you might have to adjust the height using more chains or something else to harness it because the chain that is provided is only about 2 ft in length. Overall, the bag itself is high grade and the stitching is immaculate. For $20, it's money well spent on this item!

I picked this up for at home training and I've been very satisfied. We primarily use this as a slip bag but on occasion will also use it with our padded Escrima sticks. So far it has stood up to this abuse and, as a slip bag, it has a nice smooth action.Overall, I completely recommend this to you.Update: we’ve now been using this steadily for a bit over six months. It’s still in great shape. When you use this thing correctly (check out a video online by Paul “The Punisher” Williams for some ideas) you will get a great workout and really really improve your skills. This, and the double end bag, are some things I constantly recommend to the guys I train with at an MMA gym. Good luck!

Found this item from watching Mike Tyson Training. I was thinking I would prefer rope, but the chain with the s hook allows it to go right at the handle on my garage door when opened, and the s hook through a chain link for perfect height for my head. I will install a ceiling mount in room to use also. Very satisfied for the price cannot beat for $20. Thanks! Will buy some other models if I can find them but this is nice as is. Others have you fill it with rice, sand etc. This is already filled. Wish it was slightly heavier, but the point is this is not meant to be punched, Dodge it while shadow boxing, It can still be lightly hit accurately to keep the swing going well.
