I am revising my review to 5 star to consider the excellent customer support (refund). I REALLY appreciate it when a company is proactive in keeping customers happy. This keyboard is still a really cool gaming keyboard, with enough flashly lights and shortcuts for any hardcore gamer on a budget. For fast typing, I may have just gotten a bad batch of the bunch. *** Original Review *** I saw a lot of excellent reviews and was looking for a decent mechanical keyboard to use for typing. As an inexpensive keyboard and my first LED lit one, it's not bad. But I'm not too impressed with the performance. My pros and cons: Pros: - No driver installation needed for any of the mouse functions. This was really convenient. The controlling of the LED patterns, speed, brightness, etc. etc are all built directly into it. - The LED lights are cool. It's always about the lights! The included mouse also has some pretty neat colors as well. - Mouse DPI controls are built right in with the various levels. The built-in LED strip changes color to indicate the DPI settnig. - Has a nice mechanical click feeling. But that's about it. Cons: - I CANNOT TYPE CORRECTLY ON THIS KEYBOARD. I can average around 90-100 WPM on a membrane keyboard, but for some reason the keys are registering out of order a LOT. Here is an example sentence with no corrections: "The quick brow nfox jumped over the lazy sleeping dog. The quic kbrown fox jumped over the lazy sleeping dog. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy sleeping dog . The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy sleping dog. The quick brown fox jumped voer the lazy sleeping dog The quick brown fox jumped over the alzy sleepnig dog." - I went about 70 WPM and can usually run that quick without making that many mistakes. I'm noticing that the "i" key and the spacebar sometimes doesn't register after the audible "click". Maybe it's me, but characters are also showing up out of order (e.g., "voer" instead of "over") - The mouse is too big. I don't have HUGE hands. But I have a piano player's fingers (long) and I am finding that the body of the mouse feels just a little too large - Did I mention that sometimes the keys don't register? Maybe I got a bum keyboard, or maybe I'm just not used to it yet. I honestly don't like how much the key has to travel from being pressed to registering it, and as a fast(ish) typer it really is annoying me. Review: Great Product, Price, and Performance! - I just received this Keyboard and mouse combo yesterday. They are replacing a much pricer Razer combination. I was having issues with my Razer KB. I primarily use the computer for work (IT) not gaming. I started typing in the early 80s when mechanical KBs were the norm. This Keyboard has a great mechanical feel. I am used to the clicity clack these keyboards make - but do note it is a bit loud - Especially if you aren't used to it. I was very sceptical of the quality of this combo because of price - but it had good reviews and cost less than 1/3 the cost to replace with another Razer setup. I can honestly say I think the build quality is better than the Razer products. I did some high speed typing runs on this thing yesterday - no ghosting (duplicate keypresses), and it was comfortable and familiar at the same time. The build quality of the KB is VERY sturdy - and feels like quality. In regards to the RGB - it looks good, and has many modes. The RGB is not as programmable as the Razer - but honestly it has a mode and color combo to fit anyone's tastes - I did not buy for the RGB features so I cannot really knock it - it would be nice if you could control the RGB using software. The mouse is OK - it seems a bit light for my taste, but it performs as expected - and is a great mouse for the price. Overall I would highly recommend this combo for the price - you won't be disappointed that you saved over $80.00 vs some of the competitors.

Surprisingly good quality for the price but the LEDs...ugh
My expectations were not that high given the price. I am pleasantly surprised. For the price point, the keyboard works very well and has a decent feel. Same with the mouse, even for FPS twitch gaming. My frame of reference is expensive high performance mechanical keyboards. I spend so much time driving one that a very good keyboard is a necessity. This product may not be that, but I have zero issues using it for casual gaming or general use. I do not use it solely, or frequently for that matter, and would not expect it to hold up to near constant professional use over time. For periodic use with a laptop and guest gaming rig it has been great. Have I mentioned the annoying RGBs? The keyboard has a pleasing clicky and positive feel. The mouse is responsive, reasonably fast and accurate. Mouse buttons are fine. The mouse itself is a little larger than many and doesn't feel quite as nice as many high end gaming mice, but it is quite serviceable once one adapts to it. The RGB lighting is something I detest. Others will consider it an attractive feature. Had there been a non-RGB version I would have bought it. Thankfully, it can be controlled. It would be nice to have a hard switch to disable it. The software for the keyboard from Havit's site works well to tame to RGBs antics. If you need an inexpensive keyboard and mouse combo, and like LED silliness, this may be the keyboard for you. Even if you don't want the LED behaviors, a few keystrokes should allow you to find a tolerable lighting mode. To be clear, I'd buy this again if there wasn't something comparable available without RGB. I don't expect it to last forever but at this price, it is hard to go wrong. Easily bests the truly disposable keyboards often sold at almost the price of this one.

Good Set
I bought this keyboard a month ago and so far I haven't had any issues. This is my first time playing any games on keyboard so I probably don't know very well, but it feels pretty nice when I play val. The keyboard is pretty loud but that's to be expected considering the type of keys these are. I wasn't expecting much from the mouse but it's actually nice, especially since you can easily control the dpi and color patterns with the two buttons under the scroll. The shape is good for a normal grip but it's a bit uncomfortable to do a claw grip if that's what you prefer, so you'd have to get a different mouse. Both the mouse and keyboard are with wires and the wire can't be detached for both. If you don't have a decent amount of space on your table this may not be the best choice. The keys are satisfying when you type, as well as the sound. They're very stable, but I'd suggest getting o-rings if you want them to sound a little clearer since it'll lessen the sound of plastic on plastic from the keys hitting the base of the board. From what I've experienced so far it seems better with o-rings. The key height and spacing is good too so it should be pretty comfortable, but if it's your first time getting a mechanical keyboard like it was for me, it could take a week or so to get used to. The lighting is controllable to your liking and you can also change the patterns and colors easily.

Honest Review
I had this keyboard and mouse combo in my watch list for a long time. I finally purchased it when it went on sale. I figured, at that point if it's not a good keyboard what's the big deal. But, I must say, I'm very surprised at the quality of it. It's got some weight to it, the keys give a very crisp click sound and the RGB lighting isn't cheesy. In regards to the RGB, the patterns are very cool and there are 14 lighting modes. You can also individually program each key to a specific color if you want to. Literally, my only complaint is that the brightness of the keyboard's RGB is slightly lacking. With the keyboard and mouse sitting next to each other, the mouse looks like it's about 2x brighter than the keyboard. The mouse is on the larger side. So, if you prefer a compact mouse then you probably won't like this one. Otherwise, the RGB modes it has are pretty cool. I didn't realize it had multiple modes until I hooked it up. To summarize: Pros: Quality keyboard and mouse. Dynamic RGB. Fantastic price. Cons: Keyboard could be brighter.

For the price its worth it.
For the $55 price this keyboard is worth it. It had full RGB and software can be used with it with both the keyboard and mouse. The build quality is great and the lighting has a good range of color. The board is metal im sure aluminum, It's sturdy and has a great build quality. They keys are clicky and I believe are brown switches. At least that's what I saw on their site. Both the Keyboard and mouse are breaded and im sure wont tear. The mouse feels great and I have good sized hands. The buttons on the side depending on the game will work as macros. The buttons on the mouse are clicky and feel sturdy. For anyone that's wanting a premium quality keyboard for cheap this is the one to get. They do have software for the mouse and keyboard. Mainly the mouse. The software for the mouse is from the HV-KB378L Which will work with with they keyboard. You will unlock all functions from color customization to how you want the keyboard to react. The video posted is my keyboard reacting to the software.

Amazingly Premium Keyboard! (HV-KB389L)
Wow. I never could've imagined that you could get a premium mechanical keyboard with full RGB lighting for such a great price! You can even customize your own lighting layouts and it remembers your configurations. The build is solid and the included palm rest is appreciated. I know there's some mixed feelings about the included mouse, but if you have larger hands like myself it's actually pretty nice. Let's be honest, the keyboard alone is worth the price and if you hate the mouse you can always invest in a different one later on. The blue switches in the keys are pretty noisy, but you can noticeably dampen them with some clear o-rings for a couple of bucks. After spending days looking at my options, I can say with certainty that anyone looking for a cool RGB keyboard will be blown away by this one. Watch my video review for more information.

Good but misses keys
I have had this keyboard for a while. About 2-3 months after I got it, I started having issues with the buttons on the far right not working (the enter button, the 9, 6, 3 keys. I have to try to hit them multiple times for them to register. Sometimes my 2 key sticks and does the number twice when only hit it once. And the D key doesn’t always register. It started off mild at first and kept getting worse. It’s now at the point that I can’t deal with the issues anymore. I deal with a lot of numbers on a daily basis and this keeps slowing me down. I need to get a new keyboard. I want to try this one again, but am worried about the same issue happening again. I love the colors and the quickness of the buttons (as long as they work) I would give it 5 stars if I wasn’t having issues with the keys reacting. This keyboard was exactly what I was looking for with speed, sound, touch and responsiveness. Hopefully won’t have issues on next keyboard
