As a male, this truly enchanting book, filled with unique and lovely paintings and photographs, beyond the interestingstories of the personal relationships between our gracious ladies and their love for horses, was exciting and interestingenough for me to order from Amazon and receive its subsequent successive sequel it issued five years later.

the unique connection between women and horses is so hard to put into words, but these horse lovers did such a fantastic job!

This book is a must for all horse lovers, I love Pony Boy's observations, after reading what women had to write about their horse's, I myself can not finish a few stories, without crying. It evokes my deep inner most feelings that I have had for horses since I was 8 years old. To have someone to beable to related to horse lovers inner most feelings is a gift. The Photgraphs are spectacular.

Got this book for my grand daughter, age 14 , who loves horses and goes to many horse camps. She also has an older horse grandparent's farm. I know she will love this book for the photos and art work in, and for the life affirming essays these woman have written.

Wisdom, beautiful stories and wonderful writing. Great book.

This book is much larger than I expected and the pictures are wonderful. The stories are heartfelt and some bring a tear to my eyes.

This book is like a devotional. Especially if you have a passion for the horse.
