A few things you should know
This non-slip texture is very well made. It's nice and thick, but still requires at minimum 2 coats to fully cover the surface you are applying it to. Now, 2 things you absolutely need to know before purchasing this product.1. This product attracts every bug known to man. Be especially careful as bees and wasps really swarm and walk through this texture while you are applying it. I kept a can of outdoor insect killer handy all 3 days I was applying this product.2. If you are going to roll this product onto a porch or deck, DO NOT use a ROUGH SURFACE roller. Use a SEMI-SMOOTH roller when applying this product. I started with a rough surface roller and after 6-7 passes, the roller left clumps all over the deck. I switched to a semi-smooth roller which flattened the clumps and allowed me to smooth the product over the deck and make it look great. I wish someone had told me about this sooner. If you can get past the smell, the bugs, and the occasional clump or two, this product will make your porch or deck look amazing. I've included a few pictures of my 16 year old swim dock and walkway. I can't do anything about the sagging, but now no one will be slipping before they do a cannon ball off the dock.

So Far So Good!
FIXALL Skid Grip Anti-Slip Coating, 1 Gallon, Jet (Black)Applied this with a roller brush to a sidewalk outside of a commercial building for looks and grip (safety). Laid down easily enough just like any other paint. There is grit in this paint, so it may not work for aerosol/spray gun applications, but will be fine for brush and/or roller. This particular paint looks purplish-blue when it's wet, but turns to my desired color (jet black). It looks great! Can see and feel the texturing; the color itself has no sheen to it (non-glossy) which is what I wanted. It's already rained once since I've painted the concrete sidewalk and can attest that it does, in fact, work! The sidewalk has far more grip to it now. Will update this review if necessary (i.e. quality worsens prematurely). For now, very pleased and would recommend this for any outside sidewalk/porch/parking lot that needs anti-slip for safety/liability concerns!

High quality concrete paint!
It’s February here in NC which means it’s time to get your patios ready for spring! Sadly, we had a poor concrete job a few years ago when we had our pool installed and we’ve been trying to fix it ever since. I’ve painted the concrete 3xs trying to fix cracks and color stains. Nothing seemed to do the trick. Maybe it’s bc the color was too light? Not sure. But this product was the perfect fix for us! The color was just what I was looking for. The sand added a feature we desperately needed. I was always worried about the kids slipping when in and out of the pool. Other products did not seem to disperse the texture evenly. This product did. I’m obsessed with the results! I can’t speak to the longevity of the product, but I hope it never disappears from Amazon!

Excellent paint
The paint itself is fantastic, but the shipping needs to be improved. The paint arrived opened and spilled within the box. Thankfully, this vendor’s customer service was easy to contact, quick to respond & resolved the matter to our satisfaction. I would purchase again & from this company. I only urge them to package it better to prevent spillage in the future.Fortunately we were able to salvage enough paint to fully cover the wheelchair ramp we had built in our garage and we are pleased not only with the paint color, but the adhesion & traction it provides.

Perfect for not needing to do touch ups!
This is my third time buying this paint. So far I used it to paint a wheelchair ramp made out of steel so it would not be slick or rust.I have now also used it to paint all the hand rails and spindles on my large wrap around porch so I won't have to keep scraping and touching up the paint on these each year. This paint goes on easy and lasts forever. But be warned you will need extra brushes because the sand in it does ruin the brushes pretty fast.Overall a great product for what I needed it for.

Went on nicely
Used the camel color on a front step. I did two coats on consecutive days using a brush. I had cleaned/prepped using tsp and dawn. Scrubbed and power washed afterwards. It was a fairly porous surface and well aged so I feel it will adhere well. The temperature during application was 65 and not in direct sun. I feel like you’d really have to work fast if doing it in the sun or high heat because it does dry fairly fast.(like a latex paint I’d say) The gritty texture seems like just enough to prevent slipping.I will update this post in the future if anything changes. But right now I’m very happy with the product. Side note, the can did come rather dented up but no spillage.

Very clumpy even after being shaken
This was very clumpy and I followed exact directions and mixed the paint up very well. It seems to lay very uneven, some parts ate very textured and some are not. It's still a good paint, just not very good for indoor use over concrete floors.
